Tito wasn't even competitive against Hopkins or Winky yet Taylor got the nod against BHop so where is your logic?
Hopkins beat Taylor. We know this.

ok say Hopkins got the nod.. my point is it was a close fight either way, Trinidad was a damn shutout both fights!! and Tito spent 10 years fighting as a Welterweight!! Taylor is a big Middleweight!!

I agree as far as skill goes Winky should out box/fox the young and still a little raw Jermain but I don't believe it is their comparable skill level that will decide the outcome of this fight as I didn't with Hopkins v Taylor. It is Taylors size, strenght and Jab that will win him this fight.

Felix was so great as a welter, but jermain taylor is a big middleweight, it's too much to expect the guy to be able to beat jermain. If this was Prime V Prime P4P then I think tito would win. Obviously that isn't the case though. It seems recently people have taken a shine to jermain, now they have got over the b-hop fights. I still think taylor won both.

Taylor did not win the B-hop fights, but i do believe he would beat Tito he is too long, i doubt however that Taylor gets past winky.

That's what I kind of think.. Felix has the style that would chop Taylor down on the inside. Who do you think hits "harder" overall, Hopkins or Trinidad? Jermain would be reaching after Tito, and he could be susceptible to that hard left hook inside which was Tito's best weapon.

I think if Tito grew into the division he would make a good middleweight
But Taylor would knock him out

Eating jabs is apart of Titos diet, Taylor would probably cut him up really good without throwing the right hand.

actually Hopkin's experience did, his age didn't

Taylor should have a 2 where he has a 0, and in both Hopkins fights he proved that he is completely hittable. Trinidad's power is better than Taylors and he'd still have a good chance to beat Taylor due to the fact that Taylor gets sloppy when he's trying to be over aggressive

Yeah I think Tito hits harder and he did grow into the division, If he would just work on his defense he would be better. Tito in 1999 as at this weight class, he would win Jt also gets hit and when that happens he gets sloppy and nervous.

I don't even believe we have seen the best of Taylor yet.

Jermaine's last name ain't Joppy. Taylor beats Trinidad at any time.
