    Nope. No double standards here.

Floyd should fight Hatton because that was unfinished biz on the way up to 147. If anyone wants to say that Floyd is running...say that shat about Hatton...there's grounds for a legit arguement there.

As far as Oscar goes...Floyd made a statement years ago that he would come up & defeat Oscar when Oscar was at 154 to settle the arguement that he was the better fighter & to cram one in daddy's pooper.

If he doesn't fight Oscar then he's dodging him...right?

You sure do get testy when Margarito comes up.

IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE PBF IS KNOCKED OUT. THE TARGET ON HIS BACK GETS EVER LARGER WITH EACH FIGHTER HE PICKS OFF... SHOT FIGHTERS OR NOT. HE FIGHTS THE GATTIS AND THE MITCHELS AND THE JUDAHS... ALL GAME FIGHTERS BUT ALL ON THE DOWNSLIDE OF THERE CAREERS... HATTON(THE PUNCHER) HAS A GOOD SHOT @ PBF WITH HIS PRESING NATURE I THINK HE COULD SET THE TONE OF THE FIGHT FROM THE GETGO. AND IF JUDAH KNOCKED HIM DOWN(AND HE DID) HATTON CAN LAND A FEW GOOD POWERSHOTS AND GET PBF ON HIS HEALS AND CUT THE DAMN RING OFF HE CAN CHOP HIM DOWN... I WANT TO SEE THAT FIGHT MORE THEN ANYTHING... I THINK PBF SEES TONY AS A DANGEROUS FIGHT BUT I DONT THINK HE'LL DUCK HIM. HE HAS TOO MUCH PRIDE...(SILLY MAYWEATHER)

Well Margarito probably thought he would just move up to 154 to gain more recognition, after all there are alot of big name fighters there now.. Oh wait, that's right.. He got outboxed by Daniel Santos, and then moved back to welter... I just recently saw that fight against Santos, and I have to say it lowered my opinion of Margarito DRASTICALLY.. I mean really, I always heard he just shouldn't have gone to 154, and that it was an unlucky decision b/c the cut.. But really, he was just getting outboxed. By an extremeley average boxer. I have no doubt PBF would beat this guy.

I sueggest that you watch the fight again P4P bro,as there was no way he was "just getting outboxed",Santos had the odd good round,Tony beat the heck out of him to the body and shook him 3 times in 1 round. There was also a knockdown which was not counted for 1 reason or another and the fight was in Santos backyard sO Tony getting a decision was always unlikely. I had the same scorecard as Lederman and Merchant who hardly ever agree on the score and had Tony by 1,coming on strong,by 2 if you count the knockdown. Santos career also depended on the fight,he needed a big performance so there were lots of factors at play, not to mention Santos coming to the ring@170? and I don't beleive it was 170,he looked almost twice as big as Margarito. You can't just base it off one fight because if that is the case then I have no douBT Margarito is going to walk through Floyd judging by his fight against a glass chinned Judah who he could not stop./even really hurt.If he fights like that Margarito will walk through him!

Also, why did Floyd not fight him for his belt,he is the most legitimate champ@147.
Which winky shot are you reffering to? Because he had four seperate shots at different titles...and his first shot came after he did what he was supposed to do which was beat all the bums in front of him regardless of his lack of boxing experience...he was 25-0...not 22-3.....then because he lost a decision to a real CHAMPION...he got another shot at a different belt another fight that he lost, but the champ he lost to is still undefeated to this day...and his final lost came against then IBF CHAMPION vargas....

But winky's first money fight, came against shane mosely...only after many saw, including boxers themselves that winky although having 3 losses only lost against champions...not fwooking tiajuanna bar tenders and cab drivers....

Didn't JMM already have the belt when he and PAC fought? I think JMM was actually favored in that fight.... And Raheem was seen as a pushover opponent for EM, en route to a rematch with PAC...unfortunately for EM's people they were too stupid to know that Raheem was on the same olympic team with PBF, and that his only pro loss came after a bullshat ref decided to take points away from him for putting resting his hand behind juarez's head....

Any Floyd Fan that doesn't want Floyd to step in with Welterweight Monster Margarito is just blindly in awe of Floyd's skill. Just as HBO commentators are in love with Wladimir! Floyd just stepped up to Welterweight, to say he doesn't need to face the most dangerous Welterweight, right now, is just NOT what a boxing fan should say. If you want us Margarito fans to keep quiet, then pray for Floyd to go back down to 140. As long as he's in the same division as Monster Machine Antonio Margarito, expect writers and fans to expect Mayweather to get in with him.

He's the most dangerous Welterweight. And guess what? Mayweather hasn't faced him yet. I wonder why? ... Because maybe he knows something that his fans don't.

Those same elite fighters, they teach their fan boys how to treat Margarito.

I'm a PBF fan but I can agree that his assesment of Margarito is just to keep the mainstream fans from thinking a guy with 4 losses is any good. It's all rubbish and politics. And I hate using the word rubbish

Yes. There is a difference in being a fan and being a fan boy.

That's a good question...here's an even better one:

If Margarito is such a killer, why doesn't he knockout a notable contender or ex-champ and earn his shot at the big money?

Just because you beat up other bums from the local Tiajuana bars doesn't make you worthy of cashing in off someone else's name....
He doesn't bring enough to the table for PBF..
It feels good to be back home.

Want to know something even more laughable.

I get the point of this thread he should really fight a champ or something. And don't say he called out every champ because the name "collazo" never passed his lips I wonder why.. Collazo is a slick boxer southpaw.. and not a guy who stands right in front and trades THATS WHY

HAHAHAH,nope, not testy, just I want to see the best fights and I dooo get annoyed when I see Floyd fighting Zab,Mitchell etc but not fight Tony!! I see what you mean about Oscar but it is not ducking where there are so many factors against making the fight and I doubt Oscar wants to be used as a stepping stone and like you said,Hatton business is from 140,147=whole new ball game,Hatton has to get in queue!
