SO TRUE... WHAT PROBLEM DOES HE HAVE FIGHTING EVERWHERE ELSE. ALL HIS FIGHTS ARE @ THE M.E.N. ARENA OR SOMEWHERE IN CLOSE PROXIMITY... I UNDERSTAND HE'S THE CHAMP BUT SO WAS LACY AND HE GOT ON A PLANE AND FLEW OVER THERE... WHAT? DOES HE GET HOMESICK?

I wasn't impressed by him beating a 13 year old Jeff Lacy, who came wearing his his power ranger shirt and ready to play kickball.

If he beats Kessler, Tarver, and winner of Winky/Taylor.

I would officially give him props. I would never bad mouth another Brit ever again. You have my word.

Not only that, I will make a Joe Calzaghe appreciation thread every three month.

As a matter of fact, I would use the word "mate" in my every conversation.

You can bookmark this thread. I will apologize to every Brit in here.

Until then, Joe can kiss my American a** for beating up on a Green power ranger Jeff Lacy.

Green? - Jeff Lacy has more fights combined than Calzaghe and Kessler together combined. He just lags the talent
Who cares if he had more fights?

Dude still has areas he needs to work on. He ain't ready for the next level.

If a banana is not developed, what color is it?
yeah but before the fight everyone thought he was ready and alot of people on this site thought he was gonna blow JC out early, agreed though JC has to take the big fights now which I think he will, one homecoming fight firsts not the end of the world though!
How many homecoming fights has he had?

How many times is he going to play in his backyard?

That's all I'm asking. Come to the States and beat Tarver and Winky/Taylor.

    Then, I'm convinced.
he's already said he's going to fight in the states unlike most American fighters who never leave and think Europe's a country
Hey, I'll be convinced when he gets his hand raised against Tarver and Winky/Taylor.

Until then, london bridge is falling down, falling down....

Listen mate, why should him being a brit or not have anything to do with it mate? Go back to your obsession with RJJ mate... you getting upset because you scared of a shift in teh geography of who is winning the tittles got boring twice as fast mate.

    My
    Appologies
    To the
Entire US public for saying 'mate' about 7 times, mate.

As usual Froggystyle you only come equipped with half the info.

I'm American & I've known & believed & given Calzaghe his props for quite sometime.

Calzaghe has done enough that he doesn't have to beat anyone else on your list.

Apparently...the version of Froggystyle aint much better than the first one.

do you even know about boxing?...

you whinge about Hatton and Calzaghe yet you seem to use Antonio fucking tarver as an example of a 'top' fighter... Tarver is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over rated but unfortunatly because you base your boxing opinions of what HBO tells you/how big teh guys mouth is/what country they come from you are unable to actually analyis boxers as BOXERS...

when did I say Joe wasn't a good fighter?

I said I wasn't convinced that he was one of boxings greats.

If you think Tarver is overrated, then I guess Joe can prove me wrong right?

I don't even have HBO nor do I listen to what Larry Merchant's old ass talks about.

I form my own opinon. I don't care what country some one is from. I wasn't convinced on Lennox Lewis years ago, but he came to the States and proved me wrong. I also never said Lewis wasn't a good fighter, but I didn't think he was a legtimate heavyweight champ and he proved me wrong.

That's what Joe has to do to convince me. I never said he wasn't a good fighter. Nothng takes away what he has done in the past.

I asked him for one favor. To fight in the states.

How can a European league basketball player be a great athlete in the eyes of American NBA fans?

    When was that the Issue?

I form my own opinon. I don't care what country some one is from. you could of fooled me... I wasn't convinced on Lennox Lewis years ago, but he came to the States and proved me wrong. it seems patience is a virtue then? I also never said Lewis wasn't a good fighter, but I didn't think he was a legtimate heavyweight champ and he proved me wrong.

How can a European league basketball player be a great athlete in the eyes of American NBA fans? confusing team sports with boxing? Team sports have leagues... countrys only play each other in international tornaments... boxing is TWO MEN IN A RING... learn about it its hard to compare teams in different leagues but like you seem to forget... boxing is global...

Why do you guys care what this tool thinks?

He doesn't even have a clue what he is talking about with education systems, boxing or history.

One good point, why should he have to leave his back yard. well unless he does he will not get the big pay days he is hopping for. No one is denying how good he is but we all know that because of it other fighter will definitely try to stay away from him. It falls on him to come get them and prove he is the man not only in smw but other weights as well.

Do you have the intelligence of a Kangaroo?

Seriously, where do you not see the logic of what I'm trying to use basketball as an example.

    WOW.

Either you don't understand analogy or don't know what the NBA and a European league is.
