Its a shame he disappeared off the map like that so fast. Like him or not, he brought 100% pure excitement to boxing whenever he was in the ring or a microphone was in front of his face. Guys with the Prince's natural abilities dont come around very often

I never liked him, but have to admit that he was very good. His legacy was ruined not by MAB, but by his reaction to that defeat. By not fighting again (and you cant count his ridiculous comeback) his reputation as a fighter was seriously stained.

He'd still have a chance against anything your lot can offer.

yes he couldn't cope with defeat

when you look back at his record how many guys did he actually beat who were in their prime like he was ?

a good few were well past their prime and a few were coming up in weight

You're mad if you think "Prince" Naz will ever come back.

He was booed by his own fans after thrashing Manuel Calvo 120 to 108 for the IBO title.

Whats the point was his attitude to carring on at the time. From what i remember he was like, You tell me why i should carry on after that.

"Prince" Naz's loss to Barrera was stupid. My opinion is Barrera cheated, and the slamming of the head into the turn buckle proves that.

I agree. I think Barrera cheated for 12 straight rounds with jabs, straights, hooks, uppercuts, body punches, etc.

I was a massive Naz fan he achieved alot winning WBO,IBF,WBC titles at feather and defeating the man who was WBA champ at the time but the WBA stripped him for fighting Naz so in theory he was undisputed featherweight champ. The car crash thing was stupid of him but hey we have all done some speeding in our cars and just been lucky enough not to crash he said he was going to comeback in 2006 but then got sent to prison for the crash i don't think we wil see him fighting again.

Yes it looked fair didn't it to an untrained eye.

Barrera doesn't hit hard enough to cause that sort of damage. All his fights before and since have not caused that sort of effect.

Barrera didn't have his hands strapped. So he cheated.

I would also like to add Barrera has lost 2 fights though cheating before.

How do you like those apples.

Barrera cheated to beat Naz? Are you sh@ttin me, he dont hit hard enough to cause that kind of damage? The man has 42 kos to his name. Naz was taking his punches flush and not deflecting most of the ones that connected at all because his hands were low most of the time. Sorry no contaversy in that fight.
