I don't really get the Corrales comparison either. He reminds me of a Mayorga if Mayorga was a slightly better boxer.

But never at this. First things first, they both have entirely different body frames AND belong in different divisions. You know Unknown, THAT actually matters in itself. Chico's scrawny and tall body is a wonder. I still can't believe he was able to fit himself into Super Featherweight, especially when he's just about as tall as me!!! Crazy!

Also, Diego, unlike Mayweather, is actually fighting the fights and earning a name for himself. Casamayor, Freitas, and Castillo. He's done more than Mayweather has ever done in the past four years. He's actually taking risks against quality opposition.

And please watch more Margarito fights!!! Because your sounding like an ignorant b*stard when you say stuff like this. heheh Don't EVER compare Diego with Margarito, Seriously. You almost sound like a racist b*stard. heheh So, they both have some Mexican in them, that's about it they have in common.

Watch Margarito in his Santos, Lujan (Margarito actually plays the Boxer), and Cintron fights. Even after Margarito's "loss" he keeps on trucking with his machine like style. Also note that Margarito throws from diagonal angles UPWARD and downward!

Earth to Unknown, if you fight anybody with world class movement, you can't punch as much! Tell me something I DON'T know. That's what the sweet science is about. Also about Justin Juuko, first of all that was SIX years ago, even Diego was too young to realize his own potential. Diego and Mayweather squared off over FIVE years ago, with Diego only improving in time. The Diego of Justin Juuko wouldn't last against his current competition. Joe Goosen as Diego's trainer has really helped his game, mentally and technically. Diego was just a young man, now he's a veteran of the game with great fights and accomplishments back to back to back.

Margarito has earned his shot, like any good man, the hard way. And to say he doesn't deserve it because he "looks like Diego did six years ago" is just not smart.
He deserves a shot, I;'ve always said that. And, for the record, I'm not racist{that's funny}. Chico has gotten better with time. I was speaking about times in their careers, Chico and Tony resemble each other. They fight nothing alike now, but Chico did used to fight like Tony, as far as volume punching, and stalking. You must have mistaken me about Tony not deserving a shot. All other top welters have recent losses besides Tony, so who else deserves a shot? I've seen all of those fights with Tony that you mentioned. I never said Tony and Chico are the same, I said Tony reminds me of him. Ther is a difference, Earth to Gyrokai. Ha Ha! And I do agree with Chico should be fighting at a bigger weight. He looked like he had aids at 130. And, he don't look much better now. Yes, Tony uses angles more than Chico ever did, and boxes more. I simply based the comparrison on volume punching{past or present}, and stalking. Ease up killer! We both know you don't like my boy, and I think he'll beat your boy.

Again, I don't think they are the same fighter, but I've seen alot of both, and there are some, not alot, but some similarities. I think tony is tougher, but Chico has achieved more, and fought as good of competition as anyone.

I can't wait for Mayweather and Margarito to fight so Margarito can get the beating of a lifetime. You'll learn that just because he can take Mayweather's shows doesn't mean he'll win.

You know for sure, that I'm in agreement. I've been saying that all along.

Margarito fans seem to think that if Margarito can walk through Mayweather's shots that it means he can win.

yea right, because we allll no Mayweather depends solely depends on his power and has no defense or boxing ability

Rocky Marciano and Manny Pacquiao to name just a few threw alot of wide looping shots which were/are often considered sloppy but they still kicked everbodies butts; didn't they?

These cronies who say that Margarito is not worthy are all Pretty boy propagandists.

That's funny. Tony may be deserving, but I can't see him beating Floyd. Even if I hated Floyd, and bowed down to Tony, I wouldn't want Tony to fight him.

Even if PBF wins, why would Margarito not want to fight him? What's the worst that is going to happen? He's going to get kncoked down 6 times lose every round and get stopped? Chico came back and anyway,Floyd is the 1 that should be scared,he has more to lose.

Who said anything about just walking through his shots although obviously that will be a factor....there are other factors too which have been stated thousands of times and the fact of the matter is Tony is more deserving than anyone Floyd has fought in the last 3 years so why doesn't he stop whining like a pussy over his hand and beat Margarito?

Peopl, let us not forget.....PBF was offered $6million to fight Tony BEFORE the Zab fight but took $5mill to fight Judah.......

The game, you do know alot of a boxers money also comes from PPV RIGHT? That 5 million for fighting Judah didn't include revenue generated from PPV, and the fact is that alot of people bought that fight... About 10 times as many as would pay to see Floyd beat Margarito. PLus Floyd gained alot more recognition in beating Zab because people know who he was... Remember it doesn't matter to a boxer how much the fans know about boxing, "casual" fans pay the same amount to watch the fight as we do, and what difference does that make to Floyd. Im just saying that I guarentee Floyd made alot more money fighting Zab then he would Margarito. That's the reason Arum is trying to go out on a limb and offer Floyd such a high purse, because it probably won't sell many PPVS. And Arum knows that, in fact I would be surprised if he didn't lose money, should the fight happen. Margarito does not bring 8 million dollar purses just yet.

It's absurd you're allowed to choose who you fight

Especially someone like Floyd who isn't a huge crowd pleaser, walking around demanding millions when alot of people have no idea who he is. But everyone knows Gatti - even though PBF slaughtered him

If an athlete is gonna get paid millions he better be exciting, never playing it safe putting everything on the line. I'm a huge fan of Floyd's talent but bottom line, he does NOTHING but play it safe, with the fights he chooses and his style of fighting. People like Gatti, Ward, Castilo, Corrales, Barerra, Pac, Morales...These guys are gonna suffer later on in life because they entertained us. They put themselves on the line everytime and deserve those millions( even if MAB and Morales are F****** pricks )

You can say he's a smart fighter for never taking chances, and you're right. But it doesn't change the fact he's not earning his millions. And I'm not saying you have to go in there and take punishment to earn that money, just be a man and give it all you got.

Technically no athelete deserves millions but if you're gonna dish out that cash atleast give it to the fighters who are gonna need that money to pay the gigantic hospital bill that comes along with brain damage

but dangerous or not they do what they love and get compensated very well for it
