No way Morlaes he got KO'd but wasnt he winning the fight after 5 rounds I wouldn't call that a beatdown but it was quite a brutal ending.

I hate to piggy back off this poll, but who is the likeliest to brush themselves off and return to greater things...

MAYORGA=proved he wasnt capable in the 1st place Just had Vernons number although you need a good S^&T talker to keep it interesting and sell tickets

BYRD= even though nothing is sorted out in the heavyweight division he couldlikely get back in line for a belt but I think he is like Ruiz in the sense..WHO THE HELL WANTS TO SEE HIM FIGHT LET ALONE PAY FOR IT!!

MORALES= Tough as nails SOB, but just like that beautifully polished sports car...it dosent perform like it used to when the mileage is high on it..EM definetly has high mileage and rough ones at that, could all those wars he's been in finally showing through Maybe a long rest is what he needs?

LACY= is the one IMO that will can return to a championship level Long rest and Maybe even working with WINKY on DEFENSE and JABBING since they are friends and have the same trainer(DAN BIRMINGHAM)+ youth is on his side next fight is a pivotal one

Dont forget Kermit Cintron has been coming along nice since his destruction by Margarito, Estrada was no slouch and was pressing the action all fight he kept his composure and Won by TKO.. One fight at a time!!!!!!

BYRD was badly beaten up. But Morales! Man I never saw his face like that. True he was winning after five rounds but that I think was the plan. Manny going in to dig into his body that's why he was caught with EMs shots and probably giving away those rounds. But when his corner decided to get it off in round 6 that was I think the most damage accumulated in a round in EMs career.

No way was Pac planning to let MOrales win the early rounds like that... No way. Look at their first fight, Morales fought at a crazy pace for all 12 rounds... How was Pac supposed to know he couldn't do it again. Plus they were trading toe to toe, it's not like Manny was strategically tiring him out like Floyd with Judah or something, they were trading for their lives and Morales was getting the better of many early exchanges plus his jab was working very well. I agree with you Morales looked a beaten man, his face... But it's not like he took as much damage as Lacy or even Mayorga, and it was a FOTY candidate, not one sided like the others.

I disagree with Morales not getting a beatdown. The question who took the most beating, not what is the most one sided fight. Gatti vs PBF was more one sided than DLH vs Gatti but he deffinetly took more beating against DLH. Morales is a tough SOB and for him to go down twice, face looking worst than ever shows you just how much beating he took. Lacy got slapped for 12 rounds, Morales took bombs from 1-6(although giving some back) and was just plainly brutalised for the rest of it. Calzaghe vs Lacy may look more one sided but IMO, Morales took more of a beating. Thats one of the saddest moments fo rme in boxing when Morales actually avoided the exchanges by dancing away and then finally falling, his face just looked beaten.

Calzaghe gave a nice beatdown to Lacy but Im willing to bet holyfield got an even bigger beating from Bowe even though the fight was much closer, alot more damage.

I gotta go with Wlad/Byrd. True that Lacy was thoroughly dominated and didn't win a round, but Calzaghe just doesn't have the power to crush anyone the way Wlad crushed Byrd. The knockdown that ended the Byrd fight was just brutal. I didn't see any one thing in the Lacy fight that looked that awful (for Lacy).

Lacy got soundly beaten in boxing. Byrd got beat the fuck up.

It's got to be Lacy by Calzaghe. I know being welsh I am totally biased, but I was there and Lacy just didn't have anything at all to throw back, if his corner or the ref had any compassion they'd have stopped it after 8 or 9, Lacy was looking like an RTA victim and none of his punches were going with feet of Calzaghe.

Byrd's beating a close second though, Klitchko was awesome.

Calzaghe Lacy. After the first round I could tell Lacy was going to lose, actually midway through the first round, he just didn't look like he was about to win.

At least Byrd won the first round Lacy didn't win a second, and I'm not even sure if he landed a punch

Byrd and Lacy are good choices, but I have to say Corrales. After a tremendous fight, he got destroyed, never had a chance. He got dropped like my pants on a good night. Might not be the worst beating, but IMO, was the most lopsided. Even more than Lacy, simply because Corrales had fought good in the first fight.
