Well I don't usually like to gloat over the misfortunes of others but it serves him right.

I must be the only 1 who feels a little sorry him . I was never a fan but he gave us some great nights before his career was left in tatters . He was booed out the arena in his last fight as his fans turned their back on him now he faces his first night in jail . Its sad for his wife and two little boys

Having said that it will only be afew months taken away from him whereas he has potentially ruined the rest of the innocent mans life in the accident. He deserved a tough sentence

Perhaps this will give time for Naz to reflect on his stupid actions that have ruined someones life.

And when he comes out, in due course, maybe he can redeem himself.

If he was really going 90mph when he crashed he is lucky to be alive.

    Right then!!!!!!
let's put this into the working class mans perspective shall we (90% of Saddos members)

    FACT
The fella who he crashed into's car was absolutely mangled and EVERY SINGLE bone in his body was fractured (Amazing how he never died really)

If it was me or you who did this.... WE WOULD BE F*CKED and looking at a far far bigger sentence.

FACT.... the reason his personilezed Mercedes/Mclaren numberplate said NAS ! instead of NAZ 1 is because the latter would have spelt out the word NAZI....

Not a very good advert fot a muslim man in the UK and the reason he was "advised" to change it to NAS 1

I'd be looking at Manslaughter if it was me who commited the offence that he did and that would entail at least 6/7 years in prison.
    A lucky LUCKY Prick.
    I rest my case
    And yes i dislike him

I hate to do this on one of my first posts but dont you know that you cant be charged with manslaughter UNLESS the guy actually DIED? Thats like charging someone with murder if there still alive. So actually no, you wouldnt be charged with MANSLAUGHTER. Theres some incidents that happen where it can ruin someone's life so bad, but legally theres not much they can do. In actuality they cant do more then charge him for more then if someone got into a 20 mph crash where the guy gets a few cuts and scrapes. EVEN though the guy was hurt severly they cant make a charge that isnt there like Manslughter.

Naseem Hamed, one of Britain's most celebrated boxers, has been jailed for 15 months for causing a horrific crash in his £300,000 sports car.

The former WBA world featherweight smashed head-on at 90mph into an oncoming VW Golf in May last year, wrecking his own Mercedes McClaren and leaving the other driver with fractures to every major bone in his body.

In what Judge Alan Goldsack told Sheffield Crown Court was an aggravating factor, the former featherweight champion, who escaped unscathed, then left the scene.

Hamed, who has four previous offences for speeding and was once given a three-month disqualification, pleaded guilty to dangerous driving.

Hamed, 32, told the court that he took a split second decision to overtake the car in front on the brow of a hill road through the Peak District, near his Sheffield home, because it was repeatedly braking.

He said he believed that the driver of the Ford Mondeo had recognised him and was slowing down to glimpse him in his rear-view mirror. He said that he was not fully aware of the power of his high-powered sports car, registration NAS 1.

Anthony Burgin, 38, the driver of the Golf, was in court to watch as Hamed was jailed. His injuries are still clearly visible: his right arm is held in place by a frame and the court heard that there are numerous pins and plates holding his shattered limbs together.

After the hearing, a spokeswoman for the couple said that they were content with the sentence. "This case is not about celebrity, it's about extremely powerful motor cars being driven dangerously," she said.

Mr Burgin's girlfriend Claire told the court that their lives had been wrecked by the crash and the trauma it caused. She said: "Our good lives together have been cruelly taken away."

The self-styled 'Prince' Naseem was made 15 defences of the WBO featherweight title before losing his unbeaten record to Marco Antonio Barrera in his 37th fight.

Known for his flamboyant boxing style and huge self-confidence, with his trademark leopardskin shorts and handsprings in the ring, Hamed fought only once more when, in May 2002, he was booed out of the ring after winning a close points decision over Manuel Calvo, of Spain, in London.

In November, 2005, he suggested he would like to make a comeback after being offered a deal by an American television company. Today, as he was led to the cells, that ambition was placed on hold.

It's about time someone with celebrity is held accountable for his/her ridiculous actions......I am kinda pissed that he wasn't ordered to pay hospital bills or suffrage charges to the motorist.....maybe bubba can take some pain and suffrage out of his a**..
It feels good to be back home.

MANSLAUGHTER - The unlawful killing of a human being without malice or premeditation, either express or implied; distinguished from murder, which requires malicious intent.

naz did not mean to crash his car, therefore it cannot be manslaughter, if he purposely did it to scare him nd accidently killed him then yes its manslaughter and it doesnt matter wat crime you commit you can get a life sentence for any crime

40-1 odds that while in jail he will put himself in the best shape of his life becoming focused, dedicating himself to a comeback and his first fight back he will be an animal ( and get KO'D)

What got me was that they wouldn't tell the court that he'd been caught once before doing 110mph in that same car, because it would infringe his human rights! What about someone's rights not to get rammed by an eejit in a Merc?

He was a great fighter until that Barrera fight, but losing made him realise that he was human and he could lose, and I'd stretch those odds of him getting back in to shape in chokey to 5000-1, he'll more likely be on canteen duty scooping extra mash into his plate.

    Beds Im sorry...

but your wrong when you say no matter what crime you do you can be sentenced to life. Which is completely false. I can name probably hundreds of CRIMES that once your found guilty you CANT be put in jail for life because of the laws on the books state a minimum and a maximum sentence.
