I see your definition of "better things" for Ricky means AN EASIER FIGHT against a better known fighter!!Originally Posted by Poom

How much money do you think PBF got from the Castillo rematch?Originally Posted by CrunchTime
How much money do you think hatton would get? do you think it would even be in a major us venue?
PBF stood to benefit alot from his rematch, if hatton has one hes taking a step back, wasting time of the 2-3 years hes got left in boxing.
Cool click mate i wor thinking that myself.Originally Posted by JonesJrMayweather

Actually I think Ricky should give him a rematch. To be honest I wouldn't fancy his chances against any of the major players at 147 right now even Baldomir or Gatti.
He says he needs time to grow into the weight which suggests his next fight won't be against a big name.
He's been lucky, 3 fights 3 world titles I'd say a rematch with Collazo which would give him more time to get used to 147 before a matchup with one of the major players would be a good idea.
Personally though I think Hatton Inc saw it's shares falling big time last weekend.
From a seeming majority of people (you know who you are) thinking Hatton was the man stop Floyd now he doesn't really look like the man to stop Baldomir
His best bet is move back down and face Coralles, whether or not he beats Castillo.
Those two would have a great fight for sure.
It remains that Hatton has only beaten one decent fighter and that one a 35 year old coming to the end of his career.
He's a two weight champ now which is great, but let him follow Roy Jone's example and move back down cos he aint beating Mayweather, Margarito, Mosely or even Cintron.
you don't think Collazo was a decent fighter? PBF is the only one who can stop Collazo at that w8 imo, and it would not shock me one bit of Collazo done a UD over PBFOriginally Posted by bilbo

I mean, really, Collazo puts up a showing against a blown-up Jr. Welter who looked, frankly, pretty terrible in there, and suddenly he's possibly the best guy in the division? Doesn't follow.
Should Hatton give Collazo a rematch ABSOLUTELY however you looked at the fight it was close, extremely close.
On the flipside it would be a horrible idea from Hatton's standpoint to do it, Collazo's style obviously gave him troubles.
If I was Hatton, I would definately be looking for Gatti / Baldomir winner.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
I think it depends on what Hatten feels went wrong in the fight. If he thinks he just had a bad night like so many have suggested, maybe he trains more and grows into the ww div.
On the otherhand if he feel like he really got out classed and had nothing more for Collazo, was lucky to leave with a victory, then he'll move back down, and stay for a while until he forgets.
