You have obviously been smoking crack way to long to make any semblence of an accurate statement...Hatton lost that fight and will suffer severely if he stays at 147 or fights anyone of merit at 140....this is another brawling hack with minimal boxing skills overhyped european fighter.....which equals a 5-10th ranked fighter in America..good enough to beat the bums...and loses to anyone with talent....he LOST to Collazo......The judges were inexperienced and succumbed to the pressure.....If hatton refuses a rematch with Collazo this will only give my words merit...and if he does and loses(like he already has) it will strenghten my words even more....
    -overhyped European?

Do you remember what happend the last two times two no. 1 american boxers fought two so-called overhyped Europeans? Ask Byrd and the biggest bum of them all, Lacy

Hatton should go back down to light welterweight, he aint got no power at Welterweight.
PBF would be handled a little diff then Collazo.

Collazo is a southpaw and much stronger physically then floyd..

Floyd is a blownup Lightweight, he would not be able to take those punches to the arms, Shoulders, Body as well as Collazo did...It would be a completely Diff fight.

I hope FLoyd does try to fight ricky now that he thinks he is shat, and he will loose.

Oh you mean he would move his head and keep his hands upWould they have to put a catchers mask on Ricky so it dosent look like he got into a head on wreck here is the result for you.... Ricky's corner stops the fight in rnd #7 on account of the helacious beating he endures from PRETTY BOY FLoyd

Let's remember Floyd Mayweather has also come from a lighter weight than Hatton. So floyd isn't going to be as strong as Collazo at welter weight.

Floyd has only fought pre light welter weights that have moved to welter weight. (Shamba Mitchell, Zab Judah and Aturo Gatti)

So what makes you think Mayweather will steam roll over Hotton now

It's a bit of a sweeping statement to class any fighter as unstoppable, but ricky's proved he has a good chin. I hope he moves back down to LWW he just didn't seem comfortable against Collazo and had me worried in the 12th.

I do however think a PBF fight would be exciting

Am really trying to ignore all the posts from the Ricky haters. Ok so he didn't have a particularly good night against Collazo BUT every fighter has an off night. He won the fight, ok it was close but the stats tell the tale and Ricky was the agressor. The ref was far too strict for starters and allowed virtually '0' infighting. Its as if he was far too keen to stop anything like that (which is an important part of any fight).

Bottom line is everyone was itching for Ricky to have a tough night so they could come on here and bleat on about how he is overhyped. At the end of the day he won a fight against a tricky, rangely southpaw with a great engine who has been at welter for his whole career. Oh and he was a world champ.

P.S Claire you can give me the CC when you have sufficient posts

it was a mega off night for hatton an he had me worried in the 12 as well. but he did win. and he won when he was having an off night and when he wasnt really allowed to do what he does best, which is flight up close and personnal. when it keeps getting broken up all it means is that hatton has to get past the mega reach advantage to get up close again to do his thing, but he kept getting caught on the way in, then they just got sepperated again. if hatton won on an off night immagine the outcome if he was on form. i would personnaly like to see a rematch cos collazo deserves one and i would like to see hatton do it again but do it propperly.

PBF doesn't have to have all the strengh in the world. He just has to punch and move, and we know he can do that. That's how Collazo was effective. The rounds that he lost, he just didn't move.

I don't think Ricky will be able to get in a hold Mayweather like he did Collazo.

I agree At this point right now I only see 1 way for hatton to win and thats is he can really hurt floyd with 1 shot. If he cant seriouslly hurt or drop floyd with 1 punch he will lose and lose bad. Why? Face it the only real shot hatton had of gettin at floyd would of had to been the body. Do you think floyd would stand there and just let hatton push him to ropes. Hatton is slow add to that the height and reach advantage of floyd and I don't see him getting many punches in at all. When collazo was focused he was getting away from hatton fairly easy. If it was that easy for him come on. And his defense is just too open. Floyds would move and pop him all day. This could be a boring fight if floyd just stayed on the outside.
Step up so I can put you down

Also Floyd is Like a finally tuned sports car, but we forget Prettty Boy Floyd has a few tricks as well:

    1) Floyd likes to push the forearm in the throat when coming out of the break(which will wear you out over time)

2)Floyd also likes to bear down on the back of your neck going into the clinch as well(also designed to wear you out)

So lets not say Ricky will manhandle Floyd all nite cause Floyd has a mean streak and can make you pay on the inside Floyd is far from stupid!!!
