    Sorry if I ressurected an old thread. I saw this as a link at the bottom of a current thread.

    I think a good reason why a fighter shouldn't refuse a victory that they thought they lost is knowing that at any time they can also be at the other end of an unfavorable decision.

    In football it would be called a Robbie Fowler moment, where he was given a penalty but told the ref it was not, I think Di Canio also once had an opportunity to score but did not.

    In boxing they generally say lets have a rematch which is the closest they will admit to saying they lost the fight, a bit like Strum v Macklin.

    Yeah tough call, its like when you turn to the ref and hold your hands up cause you dont want to give the poor fellow a severe beating just cause the ref is scared of the crowds reaction.
