Frazier was quite a bit bigger than Marciano, so I'm not sure the analogy gets you there.
Rocky had more than just a left hook and I think his stamina was a lot better than Frazier's

Think he's talkin about how Marciano and Frazier have quite similar styles, always pressing forwrd head down. The size thing doesn't realy matter cos Marciano could realy brawl and he had a punch just as good as, if not better than Fraziers!

how could you ask a question about who the greatest hw without mentioning MARCIANO!!...now I wouldn't say anything if the question was "who is a better fighter? Ali or Louis" but the greatest?.....
Because Marciano would be beaten handily by Ali and a Prime Joe Louis not to mention Larry Holmes

And if anyone thinks Joe could beat Ali watch the Arturo Godoy fight again or Joe Walcott, Joe was still a sucker for a right hand which Ali had a very dangerous one.
starr is very anti-marciano-however that ali and holmes could beat ROCKY, however marciano vs the great louis is a differernt story( like marciano, louis did not have the best oppostion) marciano has a very good chance in beating louis--he could crowdlouis land his suzie-q a couple of times and ko louis--if louis does not ko rock b4hand with a deadly combo.

but marciano beat an old man 4 the title-----so did louis

joe louis is 1 of my all time favs--but saying that he would have easily beatin rocky is a stretch--it could go either way--

Ali was bigger and faster but I think Louis was the better all-time fighter.

vs each other I'm sure Ali would win but hell everyone picks Ali vs anyone, Lennox Lewis, Vitali Klitschko...guys who would dwarf Ali and punched harder and straighter than anyone he had in the division at his time.

If Billy Conn could outbox and almost beat Louis imagine what Ali cound do who was much better in every way?

Marciano with modern training techniqes that holmes had the bennifit of would be the best of all time IMO.

Frazier out worked Ali, what does that tell you?

Conn might have outboxed Joe but he made a mistake and Joe KO'd him....Ali "the best boxer ever" lost a decision and should have honestly lost more.

If Norton could hurt Ali with the right hand and Frazier could drop him, perhaps Louis could KO Ali. Ali was one of the greats but his personality has outgrown his undisputedly great acheivements. Not all the boxers that troubled Ali were all time greats and none of them were in Louis's league.

When Louis hurt someone they never got away. I don't think anyone who'se not got Italian blood rates Marciano up there with Ali or Louis.

be realistic please Joe would lose to many modern day light heavies and cruizers its just too long ago let alone ali please use some common sense Joe louis is great but a head to head matchup he gets crushed by many journey man who fight today its just too long ago and its not fair to louis he doesnt belong fighting those guys come on

prime ali prime louis preposterous, ever see ali watching the tape of louis with custamato ali saying poeplle think that guy could beat me, look at the guy hes fighting, look at him hes so slow , Im bigger faster stronger. its true guys, while norton not a great fighter would ko louis and so would frazier are u kidding me louis was 190 pounds!

pacdog, Ali said that about EVERYONE (except Ray Robinson).

Louis is THE Greatest, Ali might have been bigger but I don't give a fuck, I rate Louis higher.

If Ali was so great why wasn't he able to have 25 successful defenses? Why didn't he go undefeated?
