My point is it was a mistake by him and his team - doesn't make him ordinary, makes him ill prepared for that particular fight - quite clear to me really
I agree, think it was the 6th? Started thinking to myself why isn't hatton throwing, he went 2-3 rounds without hardly throwing anything which is uncharacteristic for him. It's only clear to people who have been watching him for a while, getting used to that unbelievable workrate - then when he performs like that you know something is a bit off. The best thing that could happen (for Hatton) is someone like Mayweather starts buying into the fact he's an 'exposed fighter'. Although I think Floyd is smarter than that...

Though his lacy crap is off... ARum is right Mayweather is a superior boxer than Leonard IMO by a large margin in terms of skill and speed.
Large margins no way! Speed is relatively even, i give PBF the defensive edge, but Leonard was FAR more powerful at Welter with far more heart and a better chin.

I hope everyone can see what is going on. Arum is a little bitch. Before PBF left Top Rank, he started hyping up the Margarito fight saying that he had the date and arena reserved, blah, blah, blah. This was obviously an attempt to set up PBF if he left and basically call PBF a chicken. Arum is now suing Golden Boy Promotions over some BS, he wants to occupy De La Hoya's time and money and possibly throw a wrench in the Mayweather-ODLH fight in Sept. And now he is saying Hatton is ordinary; he is doing this to take some of the excitement and luster off of the future PBF-Hatton megafight everyone has been dreaming of. Arum is obviously trying to burn every single road PBF has since PBF left him. And because PBF was a complete gentleman about it, Arum can't come out and say anything bad about PBF, the only thing he can do is try to screw up PBF's options. I think that's what this is all about.

He did...but take notice of who & how Mayweather has beaten his opponents & take notice of who & how Hatton has beaten his...3 opponents.

The rest on that record were one foot in the grave.
Never beg a 40 dollar hooker...specially after she's just turned down your mom's credit card!!

That being said...didn't Arum say something to the effect that Rahman was one of the best heavies in the game?

Wacko thats a bit unfair, we all know how Hatton fights he aint no PBF, so how he wins is always going to be the harder way than the way Floyd wins most of his fights, also like i said before Hatton has only been in the mix for one year how long has Floyd had to fight his maybe three defining fights in his career 5/6 years??

If it's your 41st PROFESSIONAL FIGHT this is not allowed....this is not a mistake...this is not even an "oops". It is noting more than an excuse to cover up the fact that hatton is just a good fighter and not a great one...He is already ducking Collazo by denying him a rematch...what next?..
It feels good to be back home.

He said that when future history books were written about boxing that Rahman would be considered alongside Ali and Foreman as one of the top 3 heavies of modern times.

Which is slightly less believable than David Icke's claim that the British Royal Family are actually a reptillian master race hell bent on destroying the earth.
