I voted Brester. Let's see how he does in a rematch there.

I’d like to see some sort of an effort at unifying (I don’t regard IBO), we need a Heavyweight Champ again. If Hasim Rahman gets past his old nemesis Maskaev in August we have a chance to unify WBC and IBF. Nikolay Valuev with the WBA would be an easy fight to promote once he disposes of Beck in June. Serguei Lyakhovich could be a good fight and holds the WBO but without trying to sound racist, if Klit isn’t fighting a black man or another giant… nobody will buy it.
If I can’t have any of the above then I would either like to see Toney get his retirement fight or Briggs get the shot, but the most likely fight is a rematch with Brewster. Calvin Brock is undefeated and rated #3 with the IBF but he ain’t ready for Klits level yet and all the rest simply don’t interest me.
so assuming the other 2 major belts don't change hands my final pick would be who performs the best, or basically who ever doesn't have a boring fight.
Valuev or Rahman. Purely because I think unifying the heavyweight division will be healthy for it. It isin such poor shape that Evander is thinking of making a come back! The names who aren't fighting at their level anymore should retire and let the prospects have a shot. John Ruiz is No 1 contender for WBA after Valuev-Beck, what a joke he was a farce as a champion in the first place
I voted Toney. Either he gets in shape and we get an exciting David vs Goliath, Shill vs Power match, or he gets his arse whipped. It's win-win from where I'm sitting.
I would like to see the titles unified as soon as possible..Originally Posted by wacko3205

Nikolay Valuev
Probably not a great fight but I'm for any effort to unify the titles and I'd rather see Toney/Rahman/Maskaev fight it out for the WBC before inserting Wlad into the mix with those guys. Peter, Brock, Williams, Briggs, etc. can wait until the titles are unified (maybe they can fight each other in the meantime).
I think that his next fight will be against Sultan Ibragimov.
Not the fight I was hoping for but there it is.
Wlad will be tested but he should win this.
I would LOVE to see Wlad-Brewster II but I think Lamon is nursing his eye back to health and even if he's healthy I think Brewster-Lyahkovich II is going to happen before Wlad is in the mix.
I see Wlad fighting the winner of Brock-Timor then the winner of Ruiz-Sultan.
I voted for Valuev..I think its a circus when this guy gets in the ring 7'0 320lbs he has never been down or KO'd his head is the size of a watermelon you need to hit that boy with a hammer if you want him to go down...
Klit is a fast strong man if anyone could get to valuev I think its Klit...
If Wlad cant get the job done than I think its Shaquile O'neal's turn..LOL!!
I would also love to see that fight but I think in the intrest of holding on to the IBF belt and because Don King wants Nicolay to stay as far away from any threats as possible the fight won't happen
James Toney cause I want to watch him knocked out very badly. "There will never be a white HW-champ"
seems a while to be out of the ring. thought he might have had another bout in the summer
Now don't get me wrong..........if this thread was all about who I would want him to fight it would be
1.)James Toney or Lamon Brewster
2.) a toss up between Valuev and Rahman
As much as I would like to see him fight Toney or Brewster, we deserve to see some unification bouts.
When will this ever happen?
Probably never as I have said before due to the fact that they are making more money with the belts seperated.
Wlad said on his website if Brewster says he's healthy and willing to fight Wlad will sign up right away!
He also said he's willing to fight: Valuev, Lyakhovich, Maskaev, Rahman, and James Toney
