Yes slavery is bad, yes racism is bad but in the historical context of the situation the South was not all that bad, and racism and slavery were not confined to just that area.

I have never saw it as racist..merely a reflection of regional pride. Peeps are proud to be from the South. Peeps are proud to be from Texas.

I can understand how people can think the Rebel Flag stands for racism.
When some people fly it, I'm sure that is the intension.
But when I see it, it just says to me that this person is proud to be from south of the Mason Dixon line.

I know that post was in jest, however, the granola eatin tree hugging hippies that don't want deer to be shot don't realize that their predators aren't as numerous these days and that by not controling their numbers via hunting they would over populate and hurt the ecosystem.

I don't really have an opinion on hunting, never had the balls to shoot an animal. Always been tempted to shoot another person though, have a feeling it might be exilarating. And you get to help with the overpopulation epidemic.
