I'm glad to see that there are so many Rafa fans but I am a bit apprehensive over the Mabuza fight, the guy is dangerous and I do believe him when he says he was having problems outside the ring before their first meeting which distracted him.I think it will be tougher for RM this time!

I hope your right, silence is a breath of fresh air in terms of fighting style at that weight, there's nothing wrong with rafael, ghonzalez etc. but mabuza brings something different to the table.
Remember the good old days, we miss you Marco!

i think his days are numbered if he doesnt go up to 122
or even if he goes there
cuz i saw someone whom i think will
    be a future champ...

hes name is rey 'boom-boom' bautista, i watched him on the undercard
    of the ODH-mayorga bout
and i thought he was awesome...
he is a flipino and hes just a 19 year old yet he is flawless

yup, bautista's really good but at this point he's not yet ready for a world championship fight. maybe in another year or 2, anyways he's got time on his side.

i also watched the bautisa fight and he is quality he mad short work of his man in the last fight and he did show aspects of becoming a future champ and he is only 19 and he still has alot to learn.but if he keeps going like he is, he will be a champ!

Bautista is a great fighters,I have posted some of his fights up in my thread actually. I don't think he is quite ready for Rafa now and IF they were to meet,I think he would get ko'ed but who knows in a couple of years?

I'm sorry, I don't think Gonzalez will give Rafael any problems at all. Easy UD or KO. Gonzalez looked horrible in that last fight against Montiel--I'm not convinced he even won.

fair point but you do know if this fight was arranged jhonny and raf will be risking all but i think this will give him a desire to train even harder because jhonny knows this will be his toughest fight and the same goes for raf

ask any other boxing analyst then they'll tell you who must be laughing
tell your boy rafa to ask his brother on how to recover from 3 knockdowns at the 1st round
if this fight happens soon then marquez wins in 2,
i promise you that ill let you slam my mexican fiancee
