Well usually the man who beat the man doesn't work, but in this case Haye was beaten by an OLD man, who wasn't a great fighter either, so I think it's safe to say alot of people could beat him if they got to his chin... He will always be kill or be killed, imo.

    On a very bad night.

Anyone who knows Dave or follows him knows that wasnt his best. Many things could of contributed to that, he was fighting a top ten cruiserweight too early in hi career because the BBC wanted the big fight. Maybe David wasnt conditioned best, he hadnt had the rounds in his career necessary for such a fight.

I will maintain my view that if David gets on top of Bell early, he should knock him out, Bells a slow starter and David is the polar opposite and has power better than any other cruiser out there.

Fact is with a bit more experience, if his career is handled properly David could easily mix it with the heavyweights of the moment. He kills himself to get under 200 and without doubt in my mind could EVENTUALLY claim a world heavyweight title

That old man knocked Sebastian Rothman cold a good two years before Rothman was a worthy foe for Bell

I agree with that last part, Haye is and always will be whack or get whacked at top flight.................I wouldnt have it any other way either

I'd like to see that fight...Haye fought one top notch cruiser already in Carl Thompson and got KTFO! by the way Thompson got KTFO by Ezra Sellers in 4 rds....and Sellers retired after getting destroyed by BELL in 2 rds......hayemaker is right...that is the only shot he has at bell...with a haymaker....
Haye was very green back then and didn't have things right, unfortunatly Bell is doing that superfighter thing and may be staying a HW after that so we won't get to see it. I'm actually reallys surprised by the amount of skepticism there is about Haye, is it because he is English?

No im English as you probably already know, and i have seen Haya around 5/6 times, i think he will be exposed, his stamina is awful and he looked nothing great in his last fight, thats just in my opinion though, he hasnt even had 20 fights if his promoters are serious about getting in there with O Neil Bell, there in for a big shck i feel he will be badly beaton.

I thought the way Haye came on strong in the second half against Johanson was quite encouraging, he came out looking the business then spent a few rounds no doubt confussed as to why Johanson hadnt crumbled, but then got back on with things in the later rounds, I was encouraged by that anyway.

Thats fair enough for me mate, but i dont no why Haye who has had around 18 fights ( Correct me if im wrong) wants to fight the undisputed Cruserweight Champion of the World at this point in his carreer?? He is only 25/26 years of age, if he is struggling to make weight id just move up, i think it's a very long shot if he thinks he can be the best Cruserweight in the World in his next two three fights and move up for me it aint happening.
