I don't think you can judge he's frail, he was in the ring with cotto

True, but he has either fractured or broken hs hands in almost all of his fights. That is a big problem for him and also why he has such a low ko rate and why he isnt always active. Cant blame him for it, but it is going to hurt him in big fights

Cotto was the only world class fighter he fought. His speed and skill won him his other fights, not grit. Thats the first war hes beeen in Dont get me wrong i like Paulie and want him to do well but he is too injury proned

I think the main point this post is making is that everyone is making it seem like this is about Paulie. Cotto is the one that won and all everyone is talking about is Paulie. Cotto just proved something too. That he can convincingly beat a speedy, slick boxer. Give that man his respect and stop acting like it was a walkover fight. So many people started to believe the hype and picked Paulie to win and now those same people are asking why Cotto didn't finish him. 1) Paulie was holding on to survive. 2) He's just a tough fighter with alot of pride that refused to fall short of finishing the fight. That being said, Cotto won and he looked impressive. End of story. I have never seen the loser seemingly getting more props than the winner before. Wake up people.

I dont see him as a champ because of his lack of power, He''l always be beat by an equel boxer with power. Cotto needs better D, But his power keeps him in there. GOOD JOB COTTO.
Regardless of Paulie's arrogance/attitude...he did a hell of a good job against Cotto.

Cotto dropped Corley & stopped plenty of World Champ caliber fighters...Paulie did damned fine for his step up. He took on one of the better fighters of 140lbs & he stood his ground.

    Respect to Paulie for that.

    Paulie did me proud.

I was glad I was rooting for him. The twelfth I believe the Cotto Bodyshots finally kicked in.

One easy fight, and two more fights with top 20 (not 10) fighters in his division, and he'll be ready to give Cotto even more problems.

The inexperience and the cut did hurt his begining performance considerably. Next time he'll be ready for just about everything.

What did Paulie do? O.K., he's got some guts. He took tremendous body punches and face blows, yet he went the distance. But Paulie did not back up all the crap he was talking. So, he cant walk the walk, but he can sure take a beating (which is something you are not supposed to experience in a fight).

honestly did u see the fight?...pauli boxed very well and out-boxed the bigger cotto some rounds ...
and most great boxers can and have taken a beating in a fight b4....

Ali fought ken norton and broke his jaw in the 2nd round and was beat up by norton for the rest of the fight ...then Ali won the rematches ,went on to beat Foreman too and we know the rest
<---sound familiar ..pauli fought hurt the whole fight ,and i dont knowif u even box or not personally but it Fu*ks up your rythem and fight plan when u fight injured like that
