Agree. Beyer is mediocre at best.This isn't that big a fight, Kessler will dominate it too I think... Beyer lost to Eric Lucas, it wasn't a contraversial decision it was an outright robbery... That article even states that Beyer lived in "the shadow of Sven Ottke" Nice to see he stepped right in and filled the void with a BULLSHIT decision to win the WBC title. He also got his ass hammered by Danny Green, and was seemingly in for a VERY tough night that he likely would have lost, if he hadn't been saved by a headbutt in his last fight.. He's old, and was never that good. Just like everyone Kessler has fought so far.

Well Jeff at 29 was new to the fight game with only 21 previous fights...had he fought some more veterans he'd be better prepared to fight Joe.
It seems to me that you are intent on destroying Lacy's reputation so that you can stand behind your unproven cowardly fighter Mikkel Kessler who doesn't want to lose that 0 on his record

You might not like Kessler, but to call him a coward is a bit harsh. He fought The Ring's #2 with short notice as Mads Larsen got injured and in his first defence he went down under and defeated The Ring's #3 - that is not the work of a coward, I guess....

I seen 6 of Kessler's fights and have been impressed. I actually think he's the most talented of all the Super Middleweights. I would favor him over Calzaghe and Lacy. I think he's a good fighter. But he's not a great fighter. Not yet. Why? Because he still hasn't beaten a great fighter. It's that simple. Fighter Beyer is a small step up, but that's it. Beyer is mediocre at best. I can see why you like Kessler, he looks like the complete package. I just don't know why you elevate him to god status when he hasn't done anything of great note.
