Yea Wright might be a bit too big.. He also might be a big too fast, strong, skilled, and superior to Margarito in every possible aspect of boxing. If this fight happens, Margarito has balls... But no brains. He will be brutally beaten and stopped, even though Winky isn't some powerhouse he is waaaay to good for Margarito to live with imo... Tony doesn't have one single advantage, not one.. Winky would hit harder, throw just as many shots that are much faster and better timed/set up, and most of all Margarito would be hitting absolutely nothing but his guard... This would be a ridiculous mismatch, I see it being a little less competitive than the Sam Soliman match, and alot less if Winky shows up in great shape like he did against TAylor.. I couldn't see Winky even bothering to get in top form for this guy. the only way Tony would get exposure is if Winky managed to brutally KO him then he could make some highlight replays...

I don't know but i'd guess winky was 170 in his last 2 fights, if tony fights at 154 im pretty sure he could be a healthy and strong 162, but I think he'd have to kiss goodbye to 147 if he wants to be effective later on. I think tony could win this fight, activity seems to trouble winky, but he'll have to eat counters all night to get his shots off, antonio has heart and a chin so he has the physical tools to win, that coupled with winky's decline gives him a great shot.

This is a very bad decision for Tony. Tony doesn't have the power to phase Wright. Wright has been down before but he's got a chin of granite plus he just doesn't get hit a whole lot. Winky is gonna make Tony look so bad that Tony will be fighting on Wednesday Night Fights against nobodies for the rest of his life. Tony doesn't have any advantage over Winky. But I commend Winky (even though this will be his biggest payday) for giving the guy a shot. Winky was the victim of the same difficulties Tony is dealing with now. Being unknown and not being a big enough money maker to get the big boys to face you. Haha, the one guy truly began Winky's career was Shane Mosley. Shane Mosley is genuinely one of the nicest guys in boxing but after his two wins against ODLH, I know in his head he was thinking "Winky who? I'M SHANE MOSLEY BITCH!!!"

With Winky being a southpaw,Margarito will find it difficult but the 1 thing in Tony's favour is Winky is not going to run,he'll be there in front of him. I just hope Tony is able to pack the weight on well and if so,we have a great match.Oh and by the way,Winky UD for sure. I really want this fight made,everyone has been waiting on Floyd too long. I hope Gatti wins and I hope Vargas wins too(he has stated he has no intetntion of fighting Floyd)....Where will the Pretty one go then??

Interesting match up...but not one that Margarito should take...no way in hell he wins this fight.

That being said...I shat you not...I honestly believe that Floyd fights the winner of Gatti/Baldomir or Hatton.

Personally...I'd rather see Floyd fight Baldomir & then Hatton...after that...Oscar...& then fight Margarito.

I really really have no desire to see Wright vs Margarito. It's an interesting match up...but it don't make much sense to me.

I dont know about that Northside! I dont see what Floyd gains over Hatton by going up to 147....still a level playing field IMO....

As for Margarito: Winky....Its a fight that will never happen, it just doesnt make any sense. Winky is too big for him, and Margarito would be foolish to take the fight IMO....

agreed, but this is margaritos coming out party and it was bob arum who put the offer on the table and guaranteed winky that he would make more money off this than any other fight hes ever had.

from what i understand.......this looks to be a low risk (hes not gonna lose) high reward ($) fight for winky, i think the ball is pretty much in his court
