I think Brock has looked a bit lackluster in his last two fight s BUT I gotta give him credit for 1) The beautiful left hook that ended the fight against Lawrence who was there to win and not just give rounds to a prospect and 2 ) for at least trying to take out that Russian in 110 degree weather. More like 115-120 under the lights . The Russian was totally safety first and really gave up after the sixth.

Witherspoon established himself as one to watch last night . Nice adjustment to a guy who beating and whom he had never seem any tape of . Not the most naturally gifted guy in the world in terms of being overly fast or powerful but he does have some heavy mitts and a killer instinct . Plus that conditioning is impressive .

Agreed, I think Witherspoon shows real promise...big enough, strong enough, excellent work output, nice skills and a good head on his shoulders...To me, he is the most well-rounded young heavy I've seen in a long time...
