YEEESSSSSS!!!! IT'S FINALLY TIME FOR THAT LOUD MOUTH NOBODY TO GET KNOCKED THE FUCK OUT. This is as close to a sure bet for Taylor as anything. Mora, no power whatsoever with extremely average defense, will be knocked out cold in the 3rd or 4th round.

Walk in the park for Jermain Taylor, he should be able to put on a showcase in this fight.

alright, alright. I respect the way JT carries himself but let me ask you all one question and if you could all answer this with your best and honest answer. If JT would have gotton the other side of things meaning if he wasn't the chosen one and had 3 losses in a row which could have easily happened then there wouldn't be so many jt nug huggers on here. So what if he lost his last three? Would he have been written off some what?

    You know...that's a good question...

Let me say this...had Jermain Taylor lost the first fight with Hopkins...which he actually did...& then won the rematch...which he legitly did...I woulda had much much more respect for him.

Now...he lost to Wright...plain & simple...he lost on agression & he lost on punch stats.

Had he lost the last 3 fights...I'd be torn because I really really liked Taylor coming into the game as the throne man had Hopkins retired...but the way that he has been handed the decisions of late...I just aint that high on him anymore.

It's not Taylor's fault that the judges & HBO get it wrong...but it does shine a shat light on him.

If he would of lost the first Hopkins fight, he would of got a rematch cuz it was close.  A second loss would of ended any chance of a Wright fight.  And yes a good amount of people of written him off.  Even if he would of became champion after Hopkins retired he would of always been dogged with the fact he couldn't beat Hopkins.  it would of took a dominating championship run for him to shake that label.  Which i doubt would of happened. Good enough for you?

So now what? Who can challenge him? Will he go up in weight? Or will he just play it safe the rest of the way and try to ride these three wins?

He's the Middleweight Champion. He'll always have challenges. Rather he won or lost. His last 3 fights were against big names. And they were all close fights. Should he have won them all? I ain't much of a Taylor fan, so I don't really care. But you ain't got to be a fan of his to see the quality his pass 3 opponents were. And plus, I want to see Mora get knocked out. Which is the main reason i agree Taylor needs an easy fight.

If he would have lost the two fights to Hopkins by the scores he won them by I would not have written him off. He would be viewed as what he is, a young fighter still on a learning curve. Losing two very close fights in a row to arguably the #1p4p fighter is nothing to be written off about. If he had lost then the Wright fight would have never happened. He has his flaws, but it seems with the switch to ES he will be working on those and getting better. I dont consider myself a JT nut hugger, I just get tired of everybody bashing and hating on him for something that he had nothing to do with. He fought the best he could and it was left to the judges. They scores are out of his hands. It was against the two best at 160 and he gave them both a better fight than the majority of their previous opponents, nothing to hang his head for.

I think everybody agrees Mora just needs to get bashed up. I want it to be a late round stoppage, cuz I want Mora to get some major punishment.

Agreed...but it's all in the way that he won...I think that people are a bit hard on Taylor...but it's a bit hard to swallow watching a kid win two fights that he clearly did not win.

When Taylor destroys Mora, does he get Mora's little contender belt too?

Mora will probably walk into the ring with it.

Good fight for Taylor, easy money, great title defense. And good fight for The Latin Snake Mora, fighting with the champion, in the "real world", and if he loose, he loose against the champion, so what?
I want to see it, just to know what happen...
