Yes, if I had not seen the fights (or the highlights from last night ) I would have thought that Casamayor left on a stretcher by the way Corrales talked. He sounded ridiculous. CC

it was not casamayors best outing, but its not like he was being dominated.......and i thought corrales was willing to fight w/ anybody, what was w/ all the title bull? id like to see a rematch between the 2 actually.

On FNF against Lamont Pearson. Stopped him on a cut, but Pearson didn't want any more by then was runnin and had just been unofficially dropped.
Thankfully it was a competitive fight as opposed to the fights on there earlier this week and the undercard last night. I can't remember his name but the 19 year old fighter who fought last night I'd like to see more of.

Casamayor was lucky to get the KO over Corrales because should have never took that fight with Castillo not even able to make weight he was much heavier than Corrales when he scored the KO. When Corrales KOd Castillo they both weighed in the same. It was the right move for the Corrales camp not to let Corrales fight Castillo when he was that much heavier again or they would have been giving up a big advantage!

I'd have to take Casamayor on a decision though.
I don't think Corrales fears any fighter...You have to remember Diego has been in some wars..W/L/D he has been in some tough ones...Not every fight can be a war...No harm in taking a few fights that wont be all out slugfest...Freitas though not what he used to be is a top ranked opp...In sure a rematch with Casamayor is in the future but...Corrales is one of the few fighters who's heart has never been in question..he has proven he isn't afraid to taste canvas or go out blazing...let's not dog one of the few fighters left who actually leave everything they have in the ring be it for the better or the worse

Corrales should be 0-2 against Casamayor. Only a fool would say otherwise.

Well call me a fool then. What did Casamayor do in the second fight besides drop Corrales then follow him around getting popped and outboxed?

He backed him up most of the fight and seem to land most of the big shots. Fool

How anyone can say Corrales is afraid of Casamayor is totally beyond me. He has shown time and again that he's not afraid to take a beating. IMO he is one of the few fighters out there that actually will fight anyone. Despite the fact that some may consider his win over Casamayor dubious he DID fight him again after Casamayor stopped him. In terms of ring wear, Corrales is about 38 years old and I think at this point in his career he knows it would be a mistake to take a fight with so little benift and such high risk just to prove that he isn't afraid. I think he's already done more than enough to show us he isn't.

If Casamayor get serious about a fight and trains like he shoud I think he beats anyone. He has a passion to get back at Corrales and Diego knows this. I'm not saying he is scared, but I think he knows what he's up against and rightfully does not want to risk it unless Casamayor has something to offer. Until than (when the money is big enough) don't expect Corrales to give him the chance.

If Corrales fears no one why didn't he fight Cepillo a second time?

Corrales was starting to take control when the first fight was stopped. But in the second I feel he was lucky to get the nod. I reckon Casamayor would knock Corrales out in a 3rd
