Smash? you and young David not friends anymore?
I disagree about his last fight by the way. I thought it was a positive thing rather than negative. He did as he does and tried to blast the bloke out but it didnt happen, he then got a bit confused and took a few clips but ultimately came back quite late in the fight to get the stoppage.
Obviously gutting it out over twelve rounds against someone like Mormeck or Bell is a different story.
One negative is that he still expects the KO to come rather than letting it come, that takes more out of you. He still needs to settle down.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

O' Neil Bell would Knock him TFO!!! Ditto Mormeck.

When that fails he looks poor and needs to widen his arsenal (GO TO THE BODY DAVID)
Think he'd be a much better fighter if he used a more varied array of shots.
Hopefully Lennox can teach him to use more punches while over in Miami.
And his Stamina is a big worry.
#1 in the WBC wow theres something to be proud of. Haye is decent enough good power & speed. He's a way of though from the top guys. When Cunningham wins his rematch with Guillermo Jones he should be right in line to take O'neil Bells world championship

I can't honestly see him staying upright for more than 8 rounds with either O'Neil Bell or Mormeck....
Sorry but just can't see it happening.
We shall see soon enough tho![]()
Bro
Dale Brown beat Bell but was robbed on the cards, & Cunningham is a lot better than Brown. Cunninghan would take an easy decision

Don't get me wrong Haye is a top fella and really good company but he needs to really knuckle down at this stage of his career.
I'd love to see him take a World belt and hope he can do so and soon.
Very important stage in his career and he needs World honours badly and cannot afford another loss.
Smash I think the punch selection and stamina are one and the same thing, not literally of course but he does come out giving it the big one two with the occasional flashy lead left hook thrown in. When his opponant doesnt crumble at his feet he gets a bit confused and also it drains the tank. Like i said though, the fact that his brain started to function again around about the 7th round is a positive thing, he just needs to eliminate the sticky patch in the middle. He keeps telling us how he isnt going to go for the knockout but let it come in its own time, clearly that didnt happen last time out as he spent rounds 3 through 6 looking like a mug.
