Why the Hell is Urkal the WBA number 1 ranked fighter??

See,that's another point I forgot to mention,who the heck is going to pay to see Hatton Urkal?? Hatton Collazo would make Hatton far more money either side of the Atlantic AND it would gain him more respect. I'm not going to lie,I have gone off the Hitman slightly after this saga and after he said he would fight Luis again.If Hatton wants to get big stateside,he should fight Collazo.

I can't see why Hatton would want to fight Urkal, except that its a gimme fight. It does nothing for his legacy & no one wants to see it anyway. Their are better fights out there for him. I think he should give Collazo a rematch, but if not Margarito would be fine. Hatton should fight someone worth while. If he doesn't want a top guy Paul Williams or Carlos Quintana would be perfect opponents. Even try to set something up with Cotto or Witter. Theres no way in hell I wanna see Hatton/ Urkal

He has bigger names to beat, cant say who at the minute but a meeting took place yesterday to try and finalise a MUCH bigger opponent than Urkal.

collazo should move on with his career and prove to everyone that hes a man. fight some more good fighters and then he'll be back in position for a big fight. sitting around waiting for a protected fighter to grant you a rematch is a waste of time. you get respect by fighting, not by calling people out and begging for rematches.

Collazo is too big.. Ricky is a small bloke ! Ricky needs to stay at 140, now if he was a Tall Boxer / Puncher he could move up and be successful, but he is not , he is a short volume puncher and belongs at 140. the fact that he beat Collazo was a miracle, he should not keep testing fate.

For everyone who thinks he has bigger names to go after..... WHO?? Castillo and Cotto are fighting each other next year ideally, and that would be an equal or bigger fight money wise than Hatton vs either of those two.. Floyd Hatton could still happen but personally I don't give Ricky a chance.... Don't give him a chance against Margarito either, and if anyone thinks he will take that fight your kidding yourself.. Ive seen Hatton respond to a question about Tony and you coould totally tell he didn't even want to talk about the possibility of the fight, at least that's what I thought.. It was on FNF a couple months back. The Collazo rematch is the only one that would make sense but I think Hatton know's he would stand little chance at winning that fight either.. I don't think Collazo is a stylistic nightmare or anything like that, he's just bigger than Hatton and strong enough to take anything he can dish out easily, plus to be honest I think Hatton is much less dangerous fighting in the states where he can't just maul his opponent. I think Hatton vs Margarito would be the most one sided beatdown, Tony is a HUGE welterweight, Hatton was at times hopeless against an average natural welter who isn't as good as Margarito at all, Tony would drop some bombs on him and it would get ugly fast.. But he's not. He knows his limitations. He can't win at 154. So he squeezes himself to 147 to gain an advantage. Margarito at 154 or higher is nothing but a club fighter. And he knows it.

Silly points again,Margarito doesn't struggle to make 147 at all,therefore there is no squeeze. He bulks up to fight@154,that's why he is uncomfortable fighting there.147 is his natural weight.

I'd love to see Tony-Hatton but like I said before the Collazo fight,Tony would heat him alive and I stick by that. Too big,too strong and powerful.Cool Click but the only thing I disagree with is Hatton having no fights. If you can't get the bigger names,there are always dangerous opponents like Clottey,Cintron,Williams,Quintana etc etc. All are far far more respectable than an ageing Urkal.One thing P4PK,what do you mean Hattoncan't maul his opponents stateside? As in he's not allowed to get away with the rough house stuff like IN Manchester?

I would love to see Quintana fight Hatton. Quintana is a much better version of Collazo and would definitely defeat Hatton. Hatton will be steamrolled at 147 against bigger and faster guys. No disrespect to Hatton though. I am sure he will give it his all. But his height, swelling/bleeding tendencies, and lack of the effectiveness he had at 140 will do him in big time. Watch.
