I stopped watching wrestlin around the time I turned 16, but I used to be really into it. So I don't look down on people who still are into it, but it just doesn't interest me that much. It gets to be the same old same old after awhile. But I did go to a live WWF show in Sacramento once, and you would not believe how huge those guys are. Austin, Rakishi, Kane especially. Any of you guys seen the shat live?

Do they fight foor real or is It just fake?

some people do more then others but there is NEVER an actual competition going on, they both work togeather and the goal is to not hurt each other...


some people dont do anything, they pull punches, slap thier own hands, and even take chair shots to the hands...

then you have guys who want to get the fans to like them(usually cuz kit leads to merchandise sales) and they will tell people to actually punch them, take chair shots to the head, and all kinds of shit

if you see barbwire outside the WWF then the barbwire is real, but both guys know what the other is willing to do, and they make sure theyere on the same page



the only reason i wouldnt use the term fake is cuz they DO fall from 15 feet, they DO risk breaking thier necks, they DO run into barbwire, and they DO really get hurt, alot, and it takes alot to do what they do, the better performers have amazing stamina, and are usually in a gereat deal of pain most of the time

although they NEVER actually fight, even when they decide to really punch each other they let the other guy know its comin so he can make sure he takes it right, they dont want to actually hurt one another, and the outcopme is pre-determined...


however there are instances where one guy wilol shoot(start fighting for real) because he is pissed at the other guy or the other guy goes against what was planned...

ANTONIO INOKI vs GREAT ANTONIO

inoki actually had a fight with muhamad ali but the rules were changed shortly before the fight cuz ali was having alot of trouble in sparring, it basically left inoki having to lie down and kick at ali in order to land without being DQ'd, and he managed to pretty much render ali completley unable to do anything, the rules were changed so much tho, that a winner was not determined, but inoki DID have an ablity to fight for real...

the great antonio starts refusing to sell(pretend he is getting hurt) by inokis offense, inoki hits him in the stomac and antonio just slaps his stomac like to say he isnt hurt...

inoki gets real pissed eventually, and starts to palm strike antonio for real(shoot)

i went to a house show at MSG back in like 97, i was in the 6th row and there was a little girl and her father behind me that came to see LOD, she had the LOD foam shoulder pads and shit, once they were done her father took her home cuz she was real young and falling asleep, so these two INSANLEY drunk guys come down and sit where they were sitting

the main event was austin and someone vs hbk and hhh who were still dx at the time

litrerally THE ENTIRE MATCH the two drunk guys chanted "STONE COLD, STONE COLD, STONE COLD"

a good 10 minutes into the match austin was on the apron (cuz it was a tag team match) and he couldnt ignore them anymore so he looked over and just started laughing mad hard, they were dedicated, they must have cheered 'stone cold' for no joke 15 minutes straight without one single pause, it was great


the best part was that people chant 'austin' for stone cold, but these guys had thier own thing, a few people joined in a few times but anyone who joined lasted a minute tops, they actually coordinated thier taking sips of beer so that one would allways be chanting


after the match autin stuned china, it was the first time i ever saw her get stunned

yeah it was also a non-televised house show at Arco Arena when I went back in 2001. And a big drunk guy was sittin next to us and callin Val Venis, Val PENIS instead. Very clever...

Sabu is the most entertaining wrestler there has ever been! Period but right now,I think Abyss is the man.
