I can see Tony being disappointed in not getting the fight with Floyd but he needs to stop putting all his eggs in one basket. He follows PBF around, confronts him at press conferences and slams him in interviews. Note to Tony their are other great fighters out there that you can fight.

Not to sound rude or anything but Tony needs to get off pbfs jock for real.Why is he constantly begging for a fight. I mean hes worst than tarver was when he was chasing roy but at least tarver was actually somebody.The man don't wanna fight you and you know why. What tony needs to do is force pbf to fight like tarver forced roy. And when ppl doubt Toney they're in the right since he hasn't done much, some of it his fault some of it not. Also people won't forget Toney's early losses and rightfully, but most don't look for his improvements either. Have to agree with you there....I think the reason why this has come to what it is from the side that no one is calling out margarito....why won't someone step up and put an end to this? the Baldomir fight would be a good one they are both big welters and seem to be made for each other....Baldomir seems game...he says the likes of hatton and Toney are only holding belts that HE RIGHTFULLY OWNS ANYWAY!!! so who knows?...maybe an early 2007 fight between the two....

True statement, Floyd needs to stop this but he was trying when he challenged Oscar for what would have been the biggest grossing fight of all time, and he has challenged Shane, Ricky, and Spinks. But he has very little interest in Tony, high risk low reward.

Second,you say why doesn't he fight a different style,err,Daniel Santos is almost a bigger version of Collazo but more powerful and he was MEANT to box in their second fight..not Toni's fault he didn't.

Also,if these big fights do not go through,Margarito is going to fight Quintana who is a slick slick southpaw boxer. As I said in a previous post aeons ago before this site went down and my memory was still intact....erm....I think whats happening with Floyd is that he has been hand picking his opponents for way too long now. He only fights for the dollar signs, regardless of whether it is the "best" fight to fight at the time. Whence we got Judah after a loss to Baldomir. Wouldnt a fight with Baldomir have made more sense to most people? I think so but PBF goes only where PBF wishes. He's been doing this for a looooonnnngg while. He really didnt need to waste effort on a damaged Sharmba IMO.
