I agree with you, sure it would be nice to have Tszyu back in the mix but the layoff & his current age may be to much for him to perform as his old self
Well, he's the same age as Roy Jones Jr. and he did pretty well last night. I think after 1 or 2 tune-up fights he could be very competitive against PBF. It's been over a year since he has fought though. The thing about him moving to welter though is, he has never fought at 147 and he is almost 37 years old, a jump up in weight that late in life, sounds like an invetation to punishment. I would really like to see him in action again before finallizing my judgement. He is one of my favorite fighters of all time though, I miss seeing him in action. After all he coreographed the Judah dance!!
Please Roy fought a nobody, Tszyu got nothing left to prove. Sure the way he went out against Hatton was disappointing but says a lot about where he is at this stage of his career
I wouldn't call Ajamu a bum. If he was a bum he would have been knocked out. He's never been stopped, never been down. I think Ajamu is good, he's not on Roy's level, but a bum he is not.

Just cause he didn't get knocked out doesn't make him good. There are lots of fighters that haven't been stopped but can't fight a lick. Ajamu is a good sparring partner at best

I'm just saying Ajamu is good he's just not on Roy's level.

Sweet bro, truthfully Tszyu is probably in a better position than Jones at this point, but I'd much rather see him hang em up

I don't think Tszyu should retire. I mean losing the decision to Hatton wouldn't be bad but he was stopped on his stool and I don't want that to be the final image of him. I want to see him come off a loss like Hopkins and look spectacular against a top opposition like Cotto. And then retire. He deserves that

Sure he desreves that, but I would have never thought I'd see Tszyu quit like that! I think all the injuries & layoffs have taken there toll. I don't think he would have the same desire he once had.

He may, Tszyu is a smart man. If he came back he'd have a reason. he would never come back if he knew it wasn't to the benefit of him and his family, if he came back he would have desire.

What's that saying about it being hard to get out of bed in your silk bajamas & go running at 4am in the morning... or something like that. I think Tszyu realised this in his fight with Hatton. I think he got to used to being on top. A younger more dedicated Tszyu feel would have beaten Hatton.

Well I blame Johny Lewis for the Hatton loss!! He should have known better than to let an aging Kostya travel to England and fight a strong undefeated PREASURE fighter at 2am in the morning. I still believe Kostya could KTFO of Floyd if he has kept his timing.

Gatti and Kostya could still make for a good fight (PPVnumbers) but if he were to come back i would only like to see him against Floyd or Cotto.

I absolutely agree with this part of your post, but not the rest. Fighting Gatti would be pointless apart from making some easy money, & Floyd would whip his ass
