You don't really buy that, do you? This fight is already plenty hyped up, and Hatton is already regarded as the 140 champ by everyone. Adding an alphabet strap--that he already won--by beating a crap prospect won't add any hype this fight at all.

Hatton is taking an easy fight for easy money. Its simple logic. Why else would he take this fight. Im a Hatton fan , but post Collazo im getting most critical...

Hatton isnt doing all he says he should be doing folks...

I'm surprised so many people think so lowly of Urango. Hatton should pound him with his pressure but Urango hits hard. And he comes to fight. He's no push over people. I do like that Hatton KNOWS he had his little British Troll ass kicked so now he goes back to 140 and wants to fight a light weight in Castillo.

Hatton will probably smother his power like he did to Tzyu but lets hope not. I can't stand the British Troll.

In the eyes of us true boxing fans, your right it makes no difference.

But when a promo can say its for the (insert meaningless letters here) light welterweight championship of the world, the casual fan definitely takes more notice, creating a more hyped fight and more money.

my point is that the promo could already say it's for the true, linear welterweight championship of the world (and you could throw in the Ring title too).

cc bro almost perfect, but the ring title is the linear championship. I can see Hatton's reasoning for taking this fight, it's a gimme & helps him to re-adjust back at 140. He needs to fight Castillo next though if he wants to be respected.

If the British Troll beats a lightweight, Castillo, which I doubt he can, then it will not make him any more respected. Just shows that once gets his ass kicked by a welterweight, he decides to pick on a lightweight.
