He was a frightening combination puncher circa 94/95 though, with stupid reflexes back then.

This thread was to find out more about the potential of Khan, it has some how turned into a Naz shrine

i agree khan is and is 99 % likely to ever be like naz but he has the same chance naz did at his age but he doesnt want to be trying to go through his career bieng compared to naz that'll get him no respect he needs to fight how he fights and go as far as he can with out emulating the great naseem hamed. imo

The thing is as bad as it sounds their skin tone will always draw the comparison. It should end there but it would appear of late that Khan is doing his best to add credence to it. I wouldnt mind but he should be knocking people over in the ring, not on zebra crossings.

Diego Corrales, Juan Diaz, Jesus Chavez, Acelino Freitas.

Sort of Leonard looking in some rounds.

But he doesn't move his body in those strange arranged patterns like Nas.

And he might not have the power to KO against bigger names unlike Nas

who proved he was a good knockout artist against most.

Boxrec.com claim Nas as number one of all-time in the featherweight division.

ummm................. i dont know if you should be repeating the boxrec rankings to people (unless youre making people laugh at a party or something) cuz they have a tendancy to be alittle off

    for example

    #2 p4p rafael marquez

    #11 p4p winky wright

    I know, man.

But remember, Barrera respected him enough to completely change his boxing style..

    I think that too.

Looking at that list of achievements Its easy to forget (for me, anyway) just how young Naz was when he won the European and the World titles.

    Khans Way off that.

Those are strong words!!! to even try to compare the two....Naz was an all out top class fighter...He was a P4P fighter who was to be taken serious. The man would knock you out with punches you didn't know could be thrown from such an angle....His defense was his best offense yes but...it took a prime Barrera to out point him...Love him or hate him Naz is a legit legend...Kahn is just another fighter with some hype for the moment
