Do you mean the Jay Nady that pisses me off every fight he referees. You can't mean the Jay Nady that is arguably the worst boxing ref out there can you? Why do you Americans always have to bring up your superiority complex may be the question? If you are the elite country, then surely you have invented a way to reduce the gap between the rich and poor in your country which is still growing, and to dissipate some of the biggest race segregated (they might not officially segregated, but are divided by buying power) ghettos in the world.

Don't get me wrong, I have visited Orlando (i know, not really America), Minneapolis, Boston, San Fran and Salt Lake City, and all in all, i really like it. And then on comes the guy who says they have the best country in the world and that everyone else is Jealous and Envious.
Son, you're deluding yourself. And also passing out a really bad impression of your country and most especially the very many americans who are rightly proud, but realise that they still have work to do on the country before everything is fine and dandy.

And now for my opinion on a Maskaev win. YES!!! I didn't like Rahman's approach to it in the pressers, and I'm damn happy to say that Maskaev has got him. I always give weight to history, and if he can stop him once, he can stop him again.

The other thing about most of the Eastern European fighters is they tend to do a lot less trash-talking than other fighters, and they tend to be more humble when they get their straps, so I'll big them up for that too.

And if you check the predicition contest.....who had Maskaev by KO?

Well aliens arent the only ones bringing up the fact that European boxers are ruling the HW division right now. Did you watch HBO crew making a huge deal by going on n on about the fact that all 4 belts are with fighters from former USSR ?
Its not for jealousy n envy thats a very ego centric view....u're watching too much CNN n FOX. Bottom line is that E. Euro fighters were always regared as bums having No heart n No SKills by most Americans n now for the first time in history there are no Americans holding the HW belts. So they proved the world wrong. Could imagine u even imagine this only 10 yrs ago!!!So it IS a big deal that this has happened. I was rooting for Rahman but Oleg pulled it out so credit to him.

We know that now.  At the time with 40 seconds left and Rahman still on his feet, it should not have been stopped.  He was woozy but he was holding on.  The scorecards could have had Rahman the winner.  Sure, Oleg would have won that way as well, after that battle the scorecards would've been a better way to find out.

WOW!!! WHAT A AMAZING COMEBACK!!!!!! It was a hard fought Heavyweight title bout, Maskaev come back in the second half of the fight after putting seemingly little effort in winning the first half of the fight. I wanted Rahman to win originally, but Ref Nady really acted like a dick towards Maskaev and that kinda had me rooting for Maskaev, I mean Nady was really favoring Rahman, and Rahman making excuses after about the ref messing him up was lame, Maskaev beat him fair and square.

Thats some pity that my Rahman lost but i dont care for him anymore and all that sh-it American fighters cause all of the American boxer are sh-it as hell . . .


Welcome Oleg Maskaev to be new WBC Heavyweight Champ and hope to see him VS Samil Sam soon . . .

Was it me or did Maskaev's punches seem slow and weak for the first 7-8 rds, even his reactions seemed really slow. And why he constantly backed himself into the ropes to become an easier target, I guess only he knows,....but hey, he won and I guess thats the bottom line.

It came out in the Merchant inetrview that Oleg hurt his back early in traing camp and was under a chiropracter/massueses care the whole camp...apparently he was in excruciating pain and based on what we saw it would make sense...Oleg looked stiff(even for oleg) and he seems really off balance...your right his punches looked soo slow in the first four or five rounds...when he got loose he threw some nice combos with more power but still not his best...since he won the fight it wasn't an excuse so he had no reason to lie...Congrats Oleg!
