if you like good hip hop give Guru a try, he lays down some really cool rhymes on jazz instrumentals. his earlier stuff is the best but either way give that a try

As far as hip-hop I was really into it for many yrs. and rap but somewhere along I just got tired of it it was the same shet! over & over the last hip/rap album I bought was 'The Marshall Mathers LP'.
Right now theres really no artist in the Hip-Hop/Rap genre that does anything different. IMO.
