That's a tuffy because a few of mine still have some things to iron out...but here's how I would see it.

1: Bernard Hopkins (He's a shoe in for defences)
2: Marco Antonio Barrera (He's a shoe in on his run)
3: Floyd Mayweather jr. (A few more big names & Floyd could retire as one of the best of my generation)
4: Pongsaklek Wonjongkam (He's a shoe in on record alone)
5: Ronald Winky Wright (Don't hate on Winky just because you don't like him)
6: Manny Pacquiao (Based on who he's beaten)
7: Joe Calzaghe (Based on his defences at 16
8: James Toney (I hate the man & his steroid issue...but he's had a brilliant career)
9: Oscar De La Hoya (Great for the sport & has generated much cash & notoriety)
10: Mike Tyson (I hate the man & he's a freak...but who can forget him or his career?)

I could keep going on...but that's my 10...not sure what order I'd list them in either...other than Hopkins on top. Erik Morales is an honorable mention...but I just don't know for sure, there...& believe you me...that's tuff...because I am a huge Morales fan.
I agree way more with this list than the first one. But I think Mosely has to get at least an honorable mention too. And Wacko, where the F*** is Roy Jones? He's as much a shoe-in as your top 2, for sure. I think Holyfield probably gets in too. Potentially Lennox Lewis (if we're talking about fighters who haven't been up for nomination yet, as opposed to active fighters).
As I said...I could keep going on...that's just my 10 if I were to go to 15 or 20...here's what we'd look like:

11: Erik Morales (Another fighter on record alone)
12: Roy Jones Jr (Brilliant career that was scrutinized by all)
13: Jorge Arce (Gutty, gritty, & good for boxing)
14: Ricky Hatton (Has been good for the sport & if he could have a few more big namers & remain undefeated...what a record)
15: Carlos Manuel Baldomir (I almost hate to mention him...but if he were to beat Floyd & pull out a few more big wins over legit names...his story & his record of 58 fights, 43 wins with 13 ko's, 9 losses, & 6 draws might get more interesting)
16: Lennox Lewis (Lewis beat some of the biggest names & best of our time...nuff said!)
I love watching Arce (and really want an Arce-Darchynian fight), but has he really done much in terms of competition yet? And if Hatton's there, doesn't Kostya--the only A-fighter he beat and the reason for his rating--have to be there too? I mean, these guys are good, but I just don't see Arce, Hatton--or especially Baldomir--in there above Holyfield or Trinidad. As of now. Maybe five years down the line if they step it up.

Again...like I said...that list aint in order...& currently those are the fighters that I would think should be on the list...my list atleast.

For some reason...Kostya has never really impressed me all that much.

I guess that it depends on your standards of who should be on these kinds of list. When I heard that they were talking about inducting Gatti...I almost puked. I think that it also goes for those that sell boxing & do it for fans also. Know what I mean?

Only one or two people have mentioned Felix Trinidad, everybody else left him out, that is a shock to me considering he was probably the most exciting fighter in the sport from 99-01. His legacy is in tact and if not for an undersized stay at 160 nobody would have beat him.

Wasn't Kostya champ for 10 years and wasn't he one of the first to unify the titles in a long time? Like every belt? I would have, from this generation:

    In no particular order
    Hopkins
    RJJ
    MAB
    EM
    Pacman
    Oscar
    Winky
    Shane
    Calzaghe
    Pongsaklek
    Floyd
    Tito
    James Toney
    Tszyu

That's all I can think of for now but I also believe that Joge Arce is only a few big fights away and I believe in a few years time,Cotto will be there too.Hatton too and I was no unsure over wether to include Castillo and Corrales?

PAC-MAN- NO, caught Morales and Barrera late on, and has done nothing else, has to do so much more, he will nver be the name Barrera or Morales has.

    ODLH- The greatest ever........

Ronald "Winkey"Wright- not yet, infact no where near, he needs to own a division first

Hatton- has only major English fans and has onyl fought Tsyzu needs to fight at least 4 more massive names, but is going the wrong way about it .

PBF- not yet, but will be there, the new roy jones junior, not massive fan base, but the best....counts for alot

J.T.- too young, but he can be there.....

Joe Calzaghe will be, althought he hasnt fought massive names, something tells me he didnt belive himself 5 years ago so fought shit, now he realise he is a great he can fight the big names, but its come too late

So much wrong in this post.  Were to start?   The thread title says "who are Hall of Famers right now".  Not who will be some day.  So how can you include Hatton and Taylor?  Both have a long way to go.  While I think Taylor has a slight chance to one day make it, Hatton has almost no chance.  I don't care how exciting a fighter Gatti was.  He ain't no Hall of Famer.  Hall of Famers don't lose to Angel Manfredy, Ivan Robinson and Mickey Ward.  You said he's in "stats wise".  What stats get him in?  How many stitches he's had in his career?  I'm surprised you didn't include Peter Manfredo in your list.  And why the F*** are Evander Holyfield, James Toney, Kostya Tszyu, Erik Morales and Marco Antonio Barerra not on your list?
first of all...  we must have some trouble reading...  you wrote that my title was " The thread title says "who are Hall of Famers right now".  Thats not my title...  Second, there is a reason why you have so many sad clicks...  not for your boyish banter but for your lack luster attitude in everybodies threads.  There is not "so much wrong with this post"  it is mine and these are my thoughts and everone else had no problem responding.  How bout not being so argumentative and actually posting somthing tangible in my thread.  It is about who you think, right now, will someday be in the hall of fame...  Get "Hooked on Phonics"  If you have trouble reading thread titles

I must of read it wrong. I guess the words "some day" are silent and hidden in the thread title.

I love Gatti too, but a hall of famer...I don't know, but his violent style in the ring led to a few of his losses as well, his beating by Wilson Rodriguez before his dramatic come from behind K.O. would have ruined some fighters, not to mention Ruelas, Gatti's style led to a brief career, his handlers just managed his career to make him last longer by matching him carefully. Frazier's career was short also due to his style, Gatti had a lot of wear and tear on his body by the time he met Manfredy, Robinson, and Ward. I agree with you on Toney, Holyfield and Tszyu but Morales and Barerra suffered some beatings, especially Barerra, he got crushed by Jones, then he fought scared and lost a decision, What great fighter did he beat besides Morales, and I still think he's a great fighter but losing to Jones does'nt make him less a fighter. So maybe Gatti should get a pass too.

#1) The title & The Posts don't add up.....
The title states What fighters, right now, go to the hall of fame!!

    Excuse me while I shet! my pants..... Gatti ? ? ? ? ? Pacquia? ? ? ? ? Hatton? ? ? ? "RIGHT NOW"
