Right, now how about the Eastern European fighters?
They wil end up just like all fighters from '1st world countrys'.............looking to make more $$$. It has NOTHING to do with the fact they were born in Eastern Europe.

So True...
Look @ boxing in the US
The Irish came and they lead in boxing.........
The Italian came and they lead in boxing.........
The peoples that are the poorest @ a given time "were" the fomer pool for boxers in the US
Eastern Europe is still in shambles and is doing the same

Cool Click, you make a very good point about poor nations... we have poor in the U.S, but as bad as it gets its never going to be Africa poor, where you have kids walking miles only to die before they can get to the food lines, That kind of life style breeds a mental toughness. and in the sport of boxing mental toughness is a key factor, RE: Russian fighters . The Soviet Boxing coaches were strict. harsh, they had a win or die mentality, only the best make it. , that instilled toughness what makes the Russian fighter such warriors. . I think for us in the U.S. back in the great depression era, and any major war era, we had the toughness. but we are mentally weak today as a whole, we can't sacrifice for S***. everything handed to us, our kids are spoiled brats like never before, no discipline, a parent spanks his child for doing wrong the parent goes to jail we are getting weaker and getting weaker. . Just my opinion
cc to you 1st rd Ko and I owe Pride one in 24 (karma!). some very good points fellas. I got to agree with you that through the years Americas youth has gotten more and more weak. I think more mentally weak than any thing else. I dont think anything short of a major disaster is going to change.
