If Hatton is serious about retiring in 3 years then IMO he should be a dedicated pro and stay busy for 3 years. None of this 2 fights a year crap and then ballooning up between fights...

Im a Hatton fan, but I feel a bit short changed recently....He needs a good fight to clear my head up a bit...

Conceivably, if they both clean up at 140 and 147 this fight could be worth this in about 18 months' time.

But if he expected that much at this point (£7million) then that's too much.

No one at 140 for Hatton to build up his American fan base,I don't see Hatton making that much even IF they both did clean up their respective divisions. Remember,Mayweather would want more,I just don't see it!

Dunno man i would love to see hatton matched up with the likes of cotto or malignaggi!! they would be real good fights for him and winnable fights too...

yeh i get what you mean, but i dunno if thats jus goner happen in the u.s of a! i jus dont think many referees call fighters on theyr tactics becuase theyr not too drastic, floyd dsnt throw elbow to harm and getin in close is ricky's game and tie ups are bound to happen, lol but to be quite honest i dont think theyrs a chance in hell it'll happen anywhere but america at somethin like msg on hbo or somethin... if it happens atall.
