To me it only seems like a robbery because of the huge point spread (and because Sam Peter sprinted to the dressing room). If they had Peter winning by slimmer margin I don't see a reason to complain at all.

    HOO-RAH!
Completely agree with your 2nd statement. It think its the 5 point differental that makes it look bad.

If anything, including the deduction from Peter, it should have been 116-111 for Toney.

I guess in the end I'll just cherish the sight of Toney hanging on to the rope to keep from falling down....

Yes, just one time while Peter ate jabs like popcorn all night.

I'd like to see the Compubox numbers? Strange that they never showed them.

You saw Toney hurting Peter to the body and staggering him something I never thought I'd see. Peter knows just as well as Toney does that if they rematch each other that Toney could and would knock him out by tko. he COULD have done it tonight

What's funny is that no one's really talking about Peter staggering & hurting Toney in 4 rounds. No one's talking about Toney holding the ropes because Peter battered him & was close to putting him down...

Agreed. Toney took the power well. But, boy, did he feel it!!

No one remembers that Toney used to always do that and that 3 of those 4 right hands landed on Toney's shoulder.

    Holy shit.

    That's denial.

Toney was hurt & Peter did it. Toney used to do that? Please. Toney took more punches than he ever has & from one of the most technically limited fighters of the heavyweight division.

Reggie Johnson, Roy Jones Jr, Mike McCallum, Montell Griffin and Vassiliy Jirov hit Toney a lot more then Peter did, even Rahman hit him more.

Those men (outside of Rahman) were not heavyweights. I am not talking about ancient history...I'm talking about the heavyweight division.

No one has hurt Toney like that at 200+.

Agreed. But Peter didn't finish him did he?

I think its good that you credit Peter for performing better then you thought he would, but lets face it, so did Toney

    Lots of close rounds though.

I am impressed with both men...honestly. Peter gained a lot in this fight.
    Gave them both respect.

    Good fight...questionable decision...but not a robbery.
Again...close fight...coulda gone either way. I just don't see it as a robbery.
