How good was Montell "Ice" Griffin

Very skilled, no punch, but very tricky defensively. Definitely screwed in the Hoye fight but judges these days favor agression over effectiveness. Second Toney fight was definitely a gift but I had the first for Montell, and he was very good in the first RJ fight.

CC Oumafan. I seen all those fights, cept Toney 2 cus I haven't seen it, the same exact way. Badi Ajamu also got screwed against Rico Hoye.

He was very good against Toney and impressive in parts of the first RJJ fight but obviously in the long term got destroyed but then again who wouldnt at SMW!

He was and still is a great fighter he just had a vintage performance against Rico Hoye but didn't get the decision sadly.
