? i mean around his buddies drinking beer at night is one thing but this is a freakin SPEECH man.
Well I don't condone it but I'm just saying there's your big reason...if I was tortured by someone I might be a bit pissed off at them especially if it's a group of people....it wouldn't make it right though
Besides, in what context was it used?
it's not often I say this but you are full of SH*T!!!!! the only thing you do better stoned is tell stories and eat!!!!!!!!!!!!Originally Posted by dasamm

Well as a Libertarian, I believe in the legalization of all drugs (so the Government can control what is in them). But actually Marijuana is pretty tame even when compared to tobacco and alcohol....it kills less people.
But to each their own, I can totally understand why it's considered illegal as well...because if it's legal a whole bunch of questions come up
1. What if you smoke and drive, or are high and driving, how can one tell, there is no THC breathalizer.
2. Why just pot, why not something else, why draw the line there?
and so on....so it's a "slippery slope" in drug legalization
well Lyle your obviously an intelligent individual and you state your points in a respectful educated manner. What is your education background if i may ask? are you really from the south?
but get this since this is a BOXING SITE id personally say if you had to categorize BOXING as a whole it would def be more of a democratic thing. because of the vast majority of boxers who are either minorities, or even the white boxers are from the lowest income and hardest levels of society. the majority of TRUE boxing fans would also be more so democratics as well(minorities or whites from low income/levels of society as well) alot of endless rags to riches stories which is ideally, idealistically a democratic thang. just some interesting opinions my friend.
Yes surprisingly I am from the south, I am in my last semester (hopefully) of college and I am going to see if I can try to get into grad school.
In my opinion you can't make a good choice if you don't know both sides of the argument.
Rags to riches is not just democratic it's "The American Dream" and republicans believe it too. I used to consider myself a Republican until W ruined the party (but that's another story for another day).
The Republican dream is working your way up, by yourself and making a better life for yourself and your family.
Whereas Democrats want people to help one another until they are on their feet and then the person takes off the training wheels and does for themselves.
You can ALWAYS find an excuse of why we should do one or the other, either a person is lazy on welfare or working too hard without welfare.
