That isnt possible. Librado Andrade is the mandatory challenger for the winner of that fight. Winner as to fight him
Well Andrade was paid step-aside-money to let the Kessler-Beyer fight take place. He was quoted saying that he was paid more, not to fight than he ever was for fighting. He even went as far as saying he'd be quite happy doing it again.
So it's not a problem that can't be fixed.

What IS a problem is that there's probably not enough money in the fight to make both Kessler/Palle and Calzaghe/Warren happy in the first place. So it will be even more difficult to find the money to pay off both Andrade and Mundine.
LOL cc for that. Funny comment about being paid more to step aside than he was ever paid for fighting. I'm looking forward to seeing Kessler in action. I've never seen him fight before but have read a few articles, interviews, and people's opinions from saddo's (not just royal ) and it seems like Kessler is the real deal and the future of the smw division.

His time will come for sure. But right now? And against Beyer?

I doubt it - and i certainly don't hope so.
That would be one major disappointment.

But hey - what do i know. - I'm not as much of an expert as a lot of ppl here.

So if you've seen something that makes a Beyer victory a likely scenario, now is certainly a good time to visit the bookie. Don't let my ramblings hold you back.

I'm not going near that bet...I also don't care if Kessler's defeat brings me any money I just don't like him and want to see him battered into a bloody pulp of a fighter.....that's all

According to Mogens Palle the fight between Kessler and Beyer will be on australian tv.. He says a tv-contract has been signed, but he doesn't say who'll show it..
Mogens Palle states that he offered both Mundine and Green the opportunity to fight on the card, but for practical reason it wasn't possible
Great news for all you aussie boxing fans who wants to see a great SMW fight
Romanian television is also interessed since Lucian Bute looks all set to be fighting on the card as well and InterBox acquires the exclusive TV Rights for Canada of the upcoming Kessler/Beyer superfight
Super Middleweight also acknowledge as Kessler's Kingdom when Calzaghe has retire

    Well isn't that nice.

Just don't get your hopes too high for the Beyer fight.

Do you really dislike him that much because of Royal/currently known as SS White

Kessler's allright, he's definitely a more exciting fighter than Beyer.

This is indeed good news. Can't wait for the American world to finally get some site of Kessler.

on the post dumdane...but Royal already beat you to it.

I'm gonna have to go with Kess by middle of the road TKO.
OK, sorry if i was double-posting. Hadn't seen the other thread.

Gotta agree with Fenster. I have been very sceptical about chances of Calzaghe-Kessler ever being made.
But if HBO is somehow pushing it (and this indicates they may be doing so), it would increase the chances.

    Good news.
No apology necessary babe...I was just thinking that it was a shame he beat you to it.

Personally...I still don't think that the Calzaghe Kessler fight get's made...especially if Kessler just blasts Beyer out of the ring...which I hope & believe that he does.

Thing is...Beyer isn't some easy win. There's a lot of skill left in those old bones of his.

He may put up a fight...but in the end...I just think Kess is too strong, too young, too fast, & too gotdam accurate.

What happened to Mundine's shot. The Mundine Green fight was supposed to be an eliminator for Kessler's belt. Not that I particularly want to see that one again as Kessler handled Mundine pretty well the first time.

I'd love to see Calzaghe vs Kessler for a true unification fight. Unless I'm much mistaken it would be the first true unification of all 4 recognised belts in one heck of a long time.

I know Taylor's missing one belt, so is O Neil Bell, the winner of Sakio Biko and Kessler Beyer would have all 4!

But I'm also hoping Beyer springs an upset, just to upset the apple cart.

There are so many reasons to hate Kessler...he's overhyped, he has fought a bunch of sissies, he hasn't applied himself and Royal is a stupid cunt
