you're joking right? i really don't think that Urango is that big of a threat, if he was taking on maybe Witter i wouldn't be saying anything

Hatton fought Tszyu, then REALLY stepped it up vs Carlos Maussa...ooooh impressive

You know Quintana is a bunch better than Collazo and he has more pop on his punches.

I WANT to like Hatton but jesus, when is he going to fight another good fighter It's not like he's in a division devoid of talent!

For me Collazo was a step up for Hatton I cannot underrate Collazo after watching Collazo vs "El Gallo" Rivera that was a great fight and after watching that I give Hatton credit for taking that fight as for Cotto I give him credit to after what Quintana did to Julio

You're underrating Collazo, he's a good fighter. So is Quintana, Hatton should have received credit for fighting Collazo in his first fight at 147, and so should Cotto for fighting Quintana.

I know I was being a bit harsh but all I was getting at is that this is going to be his toughest fight to date!!

oh and by the way WTF does Ricky Hatton have to do with my post?

seeing as u brought him up and in Hatton's defense since winning the IBF and more importantly the LINEAL CHAMPIONSHIP he has UNIFIED and won a belt at a SECOND WEIGHT DIVISION in TWO fights. Since Cotto won his all-so-valueble WBO belt he has DEFENDED it SIX times!! whoooo...

Agreed. Collazo was no push over he gave Hatton a helluva fight, and stunned Hatton for that matter. Especially being his 1st fight at Welter he faught a TRUE welter. unlike PBF who for his 1st fight at welter took on Sharmba.
I like Hatton but still I don't think Hatton is progressing as he should be after beating Tszyu and according to an interview posted here not to long ago he & Joe Calzaghe were suppose to come to America and take us over.

Cotto should beat Quinatna thought, quite convincingly, if Cottos everything we hear he is...
Not necessarily, styles make fights,Quintana is a big, slick 147 pounder, and was highly rated by those in the loop before he schooled Joel Julio(the highly rated, touted as the next big thing at 147). Cotto deserves credit for taking this fight.
it's great to get the props for fighting the tough fights...but if they keep you from the biggest fights because of a possible loss...where does that get him
It feels good to be back home.

I was saying Cotto has not been sheltered...fighting guys like Torres on short notice and now Quintana...it's a tall order to accomplish what Miguel has.

Also upon further thought of the situation I think the Malinaggi fight set this into place. What gets you ready for a slick southpaw better than A SLICK SOUTHPAW

I expect more from Hatton, URANGO? Give me a BREAK! JLC, Chico, Harris, Witter, Judah...ANYONE that is a BIG match up

Not the easiest opponent for Cotto. Lot of credit to him for taking the fight. I see him winning on points.
