Actually I think Brewer is going to win this fight. You say he has lost loads of fights but mate take a look at his record, he's fought a higher standard of opposition than any of the contenders from both series!

He' gone the distance with Peter Manfredo and Jermain Taylor, lost a split decision to Sechew Powell and actually put Powell down in the 5th.

He knocked Wilmer Mejia out two rounds quicker than John Duddy.

Two of his other losses were against unbeaten top prospect Kelly Pavlik, and recent Ouma opponent Marco Antonio Rubio.

He knocked out the otherwise unbeaten prospect Anthony Thompson.

As I already said there isn't a Contender on the show who has fought the quality of oppositon he has.

I'm predicting a shock win for Brewer, can't wait :P
Ah it's good to be right

The natural weight and stregnth difference did play out to be a factor after all.I suppose because these two men were fighting at over 30 pounds apart just in recent years, Forbes did have an uphill battle. I was wrong but congrats to Brewer he definately ressurected his career for now.

I actually posted this same statement in another thread, but felt it should be here too....

I watched the fights last night...

First off I would like to say, I was not impressed with three of the fighters....PERIOD!!!

    Lets start with K9...

If this guy actually thinks someone is going to book him as a headliner, well, he better start thinking of how to fight without cheating...The problem is, the Ref didnt control him well enough....

What I liked about Bravo, He didnt complain one single bit...Most fighters would have, but he didnt. He tried to fight his fight and just couldnt...If he was a pro wrestler, he might have had a better shot with him....

I dont like the guy(K9) and with a fair chance feel Bravo could have done better against him...

    Brewer-Forbes

Forbes being a former World Champion should know what he has to do to win a fight....

And Brewer should not have to fight the way he did....

They both made it a Boring fight and half the crowd was "Booing" them for that fact.....I didnt like the fight and felt that neither were worthy enough to win the competetion...

All I know is, The Contender producers better come up with some better talent the next go around...

I thought this was a show for up and comers not unworthy has-beens!!!

    Good Luck all,

    Coach
