The first fight was excellent,I don't think this will live up to the hype though. I fancy Adamek simply because he is the more well rounded of the two,Briggs was VERY limited,it was only his power that kept him in the fight. Maybe if he can work on more variety,then he would have more of a chance.

Exactly....there are plenty of fights this weekend...but did you see last weekend, you couldn't swing a promoter without hitting a venue without boxing in it. It was so quiet it was unbelievable. Let's hope there aren't too many weekends like that....we can't be giving Wacko all that time off!

It's HBO's fault, they know that Showtime has premium fights on the first Saturday of the month.

But tonight is going to be very interesting. I really wonder how it's going to look like watching both cards at the same time, first time I've been able to do that. Never had two tv's before, I'm going to the sports bar tonight, which has pleny.

Looks like I'll be out to find three or four fights on the internet again come tomorrow evening, just to putm y own stamp of approval, or more likely, disapproval on some of the results. Adamek can count himself lucky from most of the reports, though it was very, very tight by all accounts.
