.....and you are obviously a multiple world professional boxing champion who has come through more wars than Corrales. That's why you are able to judge a professional fighter's 'heart', ie someone who risks his life by fighting for our entertainment, and money of course.

With wins over Frietas and Castillo? Are you on crack? Yeah he fought all of them, but wins? Are you kidding me?

Idiots like you need to check your records before randomly and unconciously posting anything on here.

Let's be clear here, Corrales did not get one-sided beat down by Casmayor. This was a close fight that could have gone either way.

He has a big heart but a glass jaw. I thought and have said Corrales was done a long time ago. Nice guy but he should not be fighting anymore.

Yea OK with the Glass Jaw...was floored 11 times and got up for 10 of them....How can you say Diego was gone years ago? He almost went to the hospital trying to make weight and was far from dominated by Casomayor..Fight was very, very close on any account Casomayor did a good job and if Diego is shot than what does that say about Casomayor if he cant dominate a Quote un Quote shot fighter...Just a ridiculous statement..

I just cant stand ignorant comments by armchair posters who proclaim a fighters destiny Clever assesment

what a great fighter he was...
he loves boxing that much that he almost fight this one for free
thanks for the great fights chico
Corrales isn't a great. He had one great fight. But he isn't great. He was exciting. But he wasn't great. He could have been great but then Mayweather and personal problems derailed that. And then Casamayor derailed that. And did it again in every chance. Corrales had his chances at greatness and he lost them. Rank him right beside Gatti.
    Rank him right beside Gatti

Gatti never came close to beating guys like Castillo, Freitas, and Casamayor, even if I thought the second one was a draw the majority of people seem to think he won.

Cas beat Corrales first time, but it was on cuts, who's to say Diego would not have come back?

Second time,I had it to Corrales by 1 but a draw would have been fair,Cas started too late in the fight.

Third time,I had Cas by 1 could have been a draw.

As for the Freitas fight, the knockdown was crucial and again he started slow,I had Freitas by 1.

And the Castillo one was a Castillo fight and I'd out BIG$$$ that if it was a 15 round fight,JLC would KO Cas. From 8012,JLC beat his ass BIGTIME,and I though Joel was about to go down when his mouthpiece was knocked out!

So it's a bit premature to claim he won all 3 without backing it up with anything. He COULD have won all3 but he didn't,

Sweet bro, I know what you mean about the 1st Corrales fight he could have come back, but 2nd I had Joel up by 1, & up by 2 in the 3rd. I had Freitas down by 1 & against Castillo a draw at the very least... but I had Joel by 1 round. Just the way I saw them!

CC back Gyro bro! Galaxy,I respect what you are saying but in each fight,Cas has arguments against him,so I'd find it hard to give him all the fights. Of course, you are entitled to your opinion,I just responded on this thread because it was made out to be as if he was robbed in the mentioned,he was not,no way! They were all close, and he either started late or faded towards the end in nearly all of them. Even this third fight with Diego,Cas may have landed more but I though Diego landed the heavier punches. What's done is done though, and I guess Joel did deserve a bit of luck after the other decisions!

no not really, i thought both Freitas and Castillo earned their decisions against Casamayor, also i think that Corrales earned the 2nd fight, he should have the exact record he has, Starr you're really starting to slip you know, then you talk about me saying that De La Hoya was robbed in the Mosley rematch

cc El G, I agree they were all close. The Castillo & Freitas fights merited a draw at least in my books. Hence the reason I feel he should still be undefeated.
