Yeah cc bro a very very close fight. I note you say Duran won the 1st fight... I might be alone here but I honestly thought Ray won, I don't remember how I scored it, haven't watch it in about 6 months but I know I scored it a win for Leonard.Originally Posted by Lords Gym

PBF by wide UD? Sure about that?
PBF couldn't win wide UD's over Zab or Castillo. SRL would be by far the best opponent he's ever faced, I wouldn't count PBF out but to act like he'd just spank SRL is crazy.

seriously, bro.........................
mayweather/castillo III at 147................................
how would that end, currently??
Judah won 4 rounds, maybe 5 on some cards although not mine, that's not a wide UDOriginally Posted by frozensolid_702
Floyd might be better than these days, years before his prime, c'mon. Floyd is the best fighter in the world but its easier to look good against guys like Gatti than it is against Castillo. Floyd would win a UD over Castillo similar to the seoond fight with Castillo winning 4 rounds or so.
SRL was a natural welter, with the speed, skill, size and power to give Floyd hell. Do you really think that Floyd would just school him?
I agree no one dominated Ray at 147, even the 1st Duran fight was close (I thought Ray won). Floyd is great but Leonard was slightly better in every department!Originally Posted by OumaFan

no disrespect to duran but duran only won first fight is because duran said he fought like pussy and leonard wanted to prove a point by fighting more like a brawler
Are you forgeting something?
Although Benitez lost to Leonard back in 78. He made Leonard miss time and again. He proved to be the better defensive masterman. Unfortunately he lacked the ice cool meticulous offensive qualities and maybe even the footwork that Mayweather has shown.
I think given my opinion that SRL isnt THAT great a boxer and he was up against someone with superror appliance of hand and footwork also with better defence... Id have to give PBF the nod... 2 times out of 3.

I agree with Oumafan, Leonard would kick little Floyds ass. Floyd is great but he's never fought anybody even approaching Hearns, Duran, Leonard or Hagler.Originally Posted by OumaFan

No way Floyd beats a prime Ray Leonard.
Um, didnt this fight already happen?
Yeah im pretty sure SRL fought Ffloyd Mayweather.
SRL was in the midle of his prime at the time.
Or are you talking about Mayweather Jr?

I have to go with Leonard. Never seen PBF tested so there's a big unknown in the heart department, Leonard has shown his many times, plus he's bigger and stronger. PBF loses by u.d. I think it would be competetive, but PBF wouldn't be able to hurt Leonard, and Leonard would stun PBF a couple of times. PBF had some difficulty with Zab, and SRL is far superior to Zab.
i dont know really. i havent seen that many SRL fights but by what you guys are saying he could beat floyd so i will say leonard by decision
well if u decide to get any leonard vs hearns 1 duran vs leonard 1 and 2 3rd one isnt that good benitez vs leonard hagler vs leonardOriginally Posted by ds91
