I would go with Mayweather. no reason for me to believe that Mayweather would lose. Ray was fantastic fighter, Howeever -vs- Ray I Thought Hearns won the second fight, I thought Haglar won the fight, and Duran won the first fight . I See Floyd doing the same. just my opinion

Remember though Ray was way past his best for Hearns 2, Hagler. Floyd doesn't fight anything like Duran he was relentless in that 1st fight. It would be a great battle of skills but I think Leonard who fought in the days of 15 rounders would have the edge.

Floyd might be better than these days, years before his prime, c'mon. Floyd is the best fighter in the world but its easier to look good against guys like Gatti than it is against Castillo. Floyd would win a UD over Castillo similar to the seoond fight with Castillo winning 4 rounds or so.

SRL was a natural welter, with the speed, skill, size and power to give Floyd hell. Do you really think that Floyd would just school him?

I agree no one dominated Ray at 147, even the 1st Duran fight was close (I thought Ray won). Floyd is great but Leonard was slightly better in every department!

Although Benitez lost to Leonard back in 78. He made Leonard miss time and again. He proved to be the better defensive masterman. Unfortunately he lacked the ice cool meticulous offensive qualities and maybe even the footwork that Mayweather has shown.

I think given my opinion that SRL isnt THAT great a boxer and he was up against someone with superror appliance of hand and footwork also with better defence... Id have to give PBF the nod... 2 times out of 3.

I agree with Oumafan, Leonard would kick little Floyds ass. Floyd is great but he's never fought anybody even approaching Hearns, Duran, Leonard or Hagler.

That was the golden age of welterweights just as Ali's era was the golden age of heavyweights.

I have to go with Leonard. Never seen PBF tested so there's a big unknown in the heart department, Leonard has shown his many times, plus he's bigger and stronger. PBF loses by u.d. I think it would be competetive, but PBF wouldn't be able to hurt Leonard, and Leonard would stun PBF a couple of times. PBF had some difficulty with Zab, and SRL is far superior to Zab.
