Cintron will retire Gatti but I don't think that fight would occur. Gatti only mentions 1 name when asked in interviews who he wants to fight and that is Miguel Cotto. He feels he can hurt Cotto and heck,if he could not handle the punches of a weak Baldo, wtf would he do with Kermit?>?

Also, who do you guys think Cintron should fight next? I want to see the top guys fight each other now,no more BS,it's driving me insane, the mount of awesome matches which could be made in this division. I would love to see him against Williams and winner gets Tony OR even more so,someone whom I believe deserves a shot,Collazo!!

There are so many excellent fights that could be made at 147 it is ridiculous!! Marogrito, PBF, Cotto, Gatti, Baldomir (PBF and the fight after), Cintron, Judah, Quintana, Collazo, then you have some very good up and comers (or fighters that are getting known) like Clottey, D-Hop. All of the top guys need to start lining up to face each other and just get it on. Even if only half of those fights get made then it would be nice.

Cintron against Gatti... thats such a first title defense for a champion

Gatti who was stopped in his last fight by Baldomir right?

Cintron could win that fight, but he wouldn't take Gatti's punches. Not that Gatti will have a chance to get off any.

I don't like Cintron. Kudos to him for the win though. But who is Suarez?

Suarez was called by some writers as the best kept secret at WW so he must have been decent at least. And that is just a name being thrown around,Gatti won't take the fight if he knows what is good for him. Gatti is the business fight, beat him,you make $$$ and your name become more known!

Ty,after the PBF fight, unless he pulls of a miracle,Baldo will most likely retire,I have seen him mention it in a few interviews.

Why won't Cintron fight Collazo!!! They're both from Puerto Rico!

I'd love to see him fight Collazo BUT you reasoning that they are both from Puerto Rico??! Margarito and De La Hoya are both in a way Mexican, why don't they fight? Collazo looks to be too high a risk, too low a reward especially without his title! I think he needs a better promoter too!

I'm talking about it would be a huge fight over there. Very National exposure. ESPECIALLY if they fought in Puerto Rico. Imagine that

Cotto v anyone is massive! Cotto Cintron would be a great fight and I just read in a Cintron interview he wants to fight in PR!! Sounds perfect but I dount he would want such a risky fight in front of his hime fans,I think he'll have an easier defence first.

I was thinking that other fighters might try to use him as a gauge for where they are at, kind of a gatekeeper type fighter. But if he does retire after PBF then it dont matter. cc for the info.

No way dude ! Kermit is a good solid fighter. Nice tall frame , excellent power, nice str8 punches. I think his loss to Margarito helped him , an experiance he learned from , I see great things from him in the future.
