    I'm hoping I'm wrong.
i almost changed my username to starrfan
    it may happen
but the fight will go on cuz it doesnt matter for pac
cuz come fight night theyll be both over 140 anyway
the only difference is that EM has less sufferings of losing the weight
and maybe more confidence for him
but we all see how exposed he was at 135 against raheem
all EM fans says hes too big for 130
but who has EM beat over 130?
hes at his best at that weight the only problem is he cant force his body
    TO FIGHT SMALLER GUYS ANYMORE
    P.S.
id rather see him weigh at 135 than 132
cuz we can all have the EXCUSE if pac loses lol
a lightweight vs a super feath?!?
but if hes at 132... wtf?!?
we're gonna have a big trouble on classifying his division
i have an idea - you can chooose
    super over featherweight
or almost but not quite lightweight?!?

CC VD,awesome analysis..but alas,as much as I hope you are right,I'm not sure. Maybe EM's time is up? I say this because I am not sold on the Velocity camp and if that has not worked,he's screwed.

Ray Robinson ruined Randy Turpin for beating him. Morales is one of those fighters. He doesn't just feed off the motivation, it becomes him. He doesn't want to prove people wrong. He has to prove them wrong. He has to get back at whoever did him wrong. He's done it through his career.

    1. Enrique Jupiter- Morales was 14-0 when he signed to fight the veteran Jupiter. Many felt it was to soon. He wasn't ready. His own team didn't want this fight. Jupiter had been destroying prospects. Ricardo Vargas 12-1, Jesus Montiel 12-0 and Mario Diaz 16-0 were all knocked out by Enrique. He said Morales was no better than them. Morales insisted on the fight. And stopped him in the 6th round.

    2. Daniel Zaragoza- This was Morales first championship fight. Zaragoza was an old man at 39. But he was crafty and was as battle tested as they can be. He was also on a roll having beaten the undefeated Wayne McCullough and former champion Hector Acero Sanchez. Morales had struggled some what in his last 2 fights. Some felt Zargaoza would be too crafty for Morales. Morales didn't. He punished the game Zaragoza to the body and stopped him in the 11th.

    3. Junior Jones- Morales did not need to take this fight. Jones was coming off a knock out loss to Kennedy McKinney. But he was extremely dangerous. He had been consider a p4p fighter a year ago. He had been dominating McKinney until he gassed out. But more importantly he had beaten Marco Antonio Barrera twice. Morales wanted to show up Barrera and make a statement. He crushed Jones in 4.

    4. Marco Antonio Barrera- The rematch. Morales won the first fight. But was bothered that many felt he didn't deserve it. He went into the rematch looking to convince people that he could beat Barrera. Morales wanted to pick off were they left off, but a cautious Barrera didn't. Morales build up an early lead and weathered Barrera's rally. In the eyes of many he deserved the win. But in didn't matter since the judges felt they needed to make things up to Barrera and gave him an undeserving win.

    5. Paulie Ayala- After losing his 0 unjustly to Barrera, Morales needed a big win to show he was still an elite fighter. Ayala was the opponent. Ayala was on an incredible roll. He had beaten Johnny Tapia and Bones Adams each twice. And had been Ring Magazines fighter of the year a couple years ago. It did him no good. Morales punished Ayala for 12 rounds. Giving Ayala the worse beating of his career.

    6. Fernando Velardez- This was for his family. Velardez had been dominated by Erik's younger brother Diego. Only to win the fight on a DQ when Diego's corner accidentally entered the ring. To make things worse, Velardez was actually stupid enough to brag about the win and said he could beat Erik as well. Knowing the club fighter Velardez was chasing a career high pay day. Erik didn't care. His family name needed to be avenged. He paid Velardez what he wanted and proceded to teach Velardez a lesson. Flooring him 5 times in 5 rounds.

    7. Guty Espadas Jr- Morales didn't need to fight this fight either. He was already penciled in to meet Jesus Chavez. But Espadas had fought Morales tough in there first fight. So tough that many felt Morales was given a gift win. There were no complaints this time as Morales knocked him out in 3.

    8. Manny Pacquiao- Many felt Moralas was on the slide. He had just lost the rubber match to Barrera in a fight in which he gave the impression he didn't want to be there. Pacquiao was coming off his destruction win of Barrera and draw against Juan Manuel Marquez. A fight in which he floored Marquez 3 times. Pacman destroyed Barrera, who Morales just loss to. He was given little chance against Pac. Morales went out there and fought Pacquiao at his own game. He hurt him numours times and even taunted him by switching to southpaw in the 12th round and daring him to knock him out. Pac couldn't. Morales had proved people wrong again.

Now Morales finds himself in this situation again. Not only was he stopped for the first time ever in his career he had also lost to an inferior fighter (Zahir Raheem) he had over looked. The critics have returned. Morales is shot. Pac can't be beaten. Blah, Blah, Blah. Morales has heard it all before. He knows what needs to be done. Come November 18, lets us all hope and pray Pacquiao doesn't get seriously hurt.
Are you serious? What's your basis for Morales not to lose? His pride, his determination to prove something? Baloney! One straight left after a series of right jabs from Pac will make him realize it was a mistake to fight a much improved Pac again. I hope he doesn't get hurt after this fight.

Ah you see that's where your wrong (and stupid). I like Pac. I always have. I think he's great fighter and I rank him # 2 p4p. I just don't think he's beating Morales on Nov 18. So since I pick Morales to win, I guess that makes me a Pac hater. Right? That's the way it works?
What's your basis then for Morales to win? Just accept that Morales is now below his prime. After a string of losses, this man will need extraordinary luck to win over Pac. Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. He can always say "I'm at my best." Hell, I have yet to see a boxer in press conference declare that he's in his worst condition. Face the truth. Morales has no chance to win. His legs will give way in the 5th round while Pac gets stronger as the fight progresses.

According to the so-called experts Morales has been below his prime for years. Before the first fight, everybody said Morales had no chance. He had lost the rubber match against Barerra, while Pac had destroy that same Barerra. What happened? Morales kicked Pac's ass. Or am I lying?

This guy is really a certified ass licker. While he mentioned past exploits of his idol when he was at his prime, he glossed over the 3 consecutive losses of his idol which was so recently. Yes, Morales had been a terrific fighter during his prime, but it's different now w/ a younger, faster and well conditioned fighter in Pacquiao. As I've said the most well conditioned fighter in the coming fight will win. And I don't see that in Morales.
If PAC could accomplish HALF of what Eriks done in his career he'd (PAC) be happy.
For now and as of today they are 1-1....
But Erik is a future Hall of Famer and a greater fighter then PAC.

This guy is really a certified a** licker.

The need to get revenge. It turns a great fighter into an animal. Montell Griffin felt it when Roy Jones destroyed him in 1 round. Hasim Rahman paid for taking Lennox Lewis title.

Pac has demolished everything Erik has done by humiliating him in his last fight w/ two knock down stoppage. He has TKO's Barrera who beat Erik twice in their trilogy. Erik Morales and Barrera could have been a Hall of Famers not until Pacquiao came in and introduced another equation. Now, sad to say, Erik is an ex-future Hall of Famer.

Morales kicked Pac's a**.  Or am I lying?
THE FIRST FIGHT WAS A CLOSE FIGHT. EM WON BY A FEW POINTS ONLY...THE SECOND FIGHT NOW THAT WAS A wHOOPING...NOW HOW ABOUT THAT BET...i GOT LOVE FOR EM I'M NOT TRYING TO INSULT HIM BUT I GOT PAC IN THE THIRD MATCH...AS FOR YOU VIOLENT DEMISE AS I SAID BEFORE YOUR THE BIGGEST PAC HATER I KNOW...BELIEVE ME I BEEN HERE LONG DON'T DENY IT JUST CAUSE YOU AIN'T GOT BALLS TO BACK UP THE SHYT YOU SAY...
Find me some posts were I've posted that Pac sucks.  It shouldn't be a problem, right p4p king?  Or should I call you jumont?  It's only obvious you two bitches are really the same bitch.  Go ahead and deny it bitch.  All you Pac groupies are the same.  You guys don't like Pac.  You guys don't love Pac.  You guys lust after Pac.  Ain't that right?  Fuckin faggots.  I'm surprise Pac can even walk you guys ride is dick so hard.

    WBC Flyweight

oh and lets not forget Pac is only 27 years old and already KTFO of both 'Hall of Famers" Barerra and Morales!!
Thats just 1 aspect of things, belts.... I mean all around which includes a lot more then wining belts, it also includes who hes faught, how long has he been World Class and how long he can stay there.... It takes more then racking belts to become a great. Eriks been World Class for years, not just 3 yrs. or so nobody knew who PAC was 'till the MAB fight. Up untill that they he was just another fighter who was in for his pay check and thats it. he made the best of it and has turned his life around and thats great, hes an exciting fighter to watch..... Another thing who had PAC faught before MAB that was World Class Or had he made noise in any other div. in past years World Wide?
Eriks been among the elite since 1997 and stood there 'till recent times. since 1997 def. one after another with no stumbles 'till he lost to MAB.

are you saying pac aint even half of EM's accomplishment?
and honestly... who was erik morales before he fought barrera?
he was a champion but aint a legend yet...
morales just became a PPV fighter after the FOTY-1 against barrera
i believe it was 2000 so its just 5 years(september 05)of being WORLD CLASS right?
you said its how long was their regime that matters...
now is that long enough to say pac isnt even close or isnt even half to be specific (thats what you said)

well its ironic that pac got all those belts when he's not yet known WORLD WIDE
but thats primarily because people aint giving enough attention to lower weight classes
take note he came all the way from 108 thats junior fly i believe
and to prove you hes fought champions and defended his belts against champions
he fought on the supporting bouts on an OSCAR DELA HOYA fight twice and the TYSON-LEWIS fight at memphis
im pretty sure everyone who's fighting under (and right before) those main events should be world class
all of them were either champions or world ranked fighters and why do you think he earned a shot against mAB?
and also try to imagine if pac was still in superfly or bantamweight right now
do you seriously think champions like arce, darchinyan, poncedeleon, rmarquez... will have a chance against him?
he actually defined odds when he surprisingly dominated the divisions where the 'stars' were

but i agree with you that he came into the big stage when he defeated barrera and that was 3 years ago
same way as ERIK.. its hard to admitt barrera was the guy who made our fav fighters big stars
then, who has morales beaten... a lot but man...
espadas?!? in jin chi? ayala?!? hernandez?!? they are world class but not legends
maybe chavez and kelly(?) would be legends and when he fought the only other legend barrera twice, he lost as many
(those were close fights and exciting fights though)
i agree hes (EM) always in a war and is really fun to watch and i truly admire his pride
and EM has made pac a household name too (like barrera did) i appreciate that
and pacs pretty much made morales' resume a standout too (admitt it, of all morales had defeated, pac and MAB were the best)
most of EM's fans will agree that the 1st fight with both MAB and pac were the pinnacle and the defining moments of his career

so you cant say pac HASNT EVEN ACHIEVED HAlF OF MORALES accomplishments
ill answer your question with a question... is jmm (whom morales will have his hands full to at least get a draw)
and oscarlarios (another man he'll have problems with) aint world class? seriously man?
and even hector velasquez.. do you think EM can KO him?
and please remember velazquez is a savage body puncher and thats EM's weakness right?
but as much as you say pacfans were absurd with their opinions
you're actually acting the same as them when you underestimated and belittle pac's accomlishments
you gave blinded taughts of a fan and didnt act like the witty and the well informed poster you usually are by giving an understatement with regards to pac's achievements

all you EM and MAB fans say pac has defeated your idols when they're
at the downfall of their careers
but isnt it barrera is in a streak when he was destroyed by pac?
and erik hasnt been KOed nor floored in his whole life?
dont tell me raheem punished him thats why he was shot as all you stated after the rematch with pac
and please name me a fighter in eriks resume who you think pac wont defeat
all i can say is theyre from different eras and they have different divisions where they fit at
and they happened to meet at a time where the one has defeated legends and is already a legend
and the other one is a future legend who is currently destroying legends

ERIK defeated legends as you said
PAC is destroying legends and morales just happens to be one of them
LETS ALL ACCEPT IT - and lets all be open minded and stay cool while waiting for the 'grand finale'
    peace mr. moderator

There's a diffrence. Your a Pac fan. Which is understandable. The man's a good fighter. These other clowns? There Pac groupies. When Pac loses they become Hatton groupies or Calzaghe groupies. When Pac rises up again, they go back to being Pac groupies. You ain't like that. I'm pretty sure you'll still back up Pac if he were to lose. These groupies won't. And by the way, they don't come any more gangsta than Violent D. I taught you knew?
