Makes me laugh the whole thing. Look at Vitali's face after the fight, did he look like a guy who was winning Lewis ruined the guy, gave him 50 stitches in his face, left him so bad that the doctor had to pull him out with one of the wost cuts you will ever see. As I see it Lewis did his job and got the guy our of there in 6 rounds, pretty impressive I'd say.

Would people really be more impressed if Lewis had've won a 12 round jab fest, rather than destroying a guys face and leaving him a position where he could not coninue. . . and these losers who say Vitali was ahead when it was stopped are overlooking the fact that Lewis was in charge and had things under control in the 6th . Vitali had given it his best and the 6th was a big round for Lewis. He began landing his power shots , took all Vitali had to offer and was breaking him down . Vitali was there for the taking as the bell sounded to end the 6th . I cant think of any possible scenario how Vitali could have gone on to win that fight . He couldnt last 12 and when he landed his best shots on Lewis they bounced off his chin . He had no chance and getting pulled out by the doctor was the best thing that could have happend to him .

I watched that fight with a guy who was a huge Klitschko fan. He was devestated at the stoppage even though half his face was hanging off. Lewis was going to KO him is what i said to him if it went on, he disagreed but that's how i saw it going. He knows his stuff too this guy but you know...... opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.

That would not have been a good fight for Wlad at the time but if it was todays Wlad, it's pretty tough to call. Wlad has a much faster and stiffer jab than Vitali and we all saw how Vitali was tatooing Lewis. His chin could come into play though cause Lewis is not one of these little guys so it's definitely a tough call.

If it was Wvlad that night instead of Vitali I reckon Lewis will have still tried to slug out out cuz he wasnt in condition to box .

If he was in the same shape he was for Rahman 2 then Lewis would have snapped out his left hand and ended it with a right pretty early in the fight .

The Lewis Vitali fought though was older and slower and Wvlad would have done better than his bro by boxing more , getting involved less and use his left hand from a distance . Inevitably Lennox would have caught up with him and those shots he began landing on Vitali would have dropped and stopped Wvlad . Igave Vitali 1 more round beofre getting stopped legitimatley by Lewis if it wasnt for the cuts . Id give Wvlad even less considering his stamina and chin problems

I said Wlad could have made Lewis more cautious OR Lewis COULD HAVE done the same thing he did to Michael Grant

And by that I mean that there were 2 outcomes Lewis-Briggs-esque or Lewis-Grant-esque and if the Briggs type of fight played out Wlad would have had a better chance than Shannon to finish Lennox if he got them hurt.

yeah gotta agree, I don't like Lewis and was routing 4 Vitali but looking back
Lewis won fair and square, I wish there had of been a rematch because it was
an entertaining fight, but if Lewis came into the fight in good condition he'd make
life alot easier 4 himself
