Yea because Floyds shotty defense and awkward balance and lousy footwork would make him such an easy target....

Ok you forget Floyd was KO'ING people at that weight and trading when he had to and ALWAYS getting the better, Floyds Accuracy is second to none and Floyds power was more than aparrent..Floyd has plenty to keep Pac off him.... Floyds Speed, defense, ring smarts and accuracey is to much for Pac to overcome he would eat plenty of straight rights coming in and would look like the butcher got a hold of him...
    CC for knowing the truth.

Pacquiao is a phenomenal fighter and may very well be the most exciting fighter in the world, but he is simply not on Floyd's level when it comes to a PFP argument. For all his brilliance, Manny has had 5 fights in his career that have not resulted in a victory. Sure, a few of those happened when he was very young, but they count nonetheless. On the other hand, Mayweather is an undefeated professional with titles in 4 weight classes.

Floyd gets criticized for the level of his opposition, but that's only because he beats people so easily. Everyone forgets, but Corrales was a top 10 PFP guy when he fought Floyd in '01. Many of the experts picked Corrales. Not only did Corrales not win a round, he didn't even land one quality punch the whole fight.

If Mayweather and Pacquiao fought when Floyd was at 130 or 135, Mayweather would've won easily. He'd be the bigger, stronger, and much faster of the two. I'd have a hard time seeing Manny making it past the 7th or 8th round with Mayweather.
