I've jumped about 20lbs in a year and if anything its an advantage because i'm a lot stronger. So its about finding a balance between speed and strengh. By the way i do single arm cable curls and decline dumbell curls for biceps....which are both isolation. Suppose it depends how serious ya are about it all.
yeah i think your right.
If you want a career in boxing, dont curl, if your just going because you enjoy the sparring and still want to look good for the ladies, an occasional curl cant hurt.
