    Big Difference!!
    You are talking papas.
I know you do not want me to post the after photos of Hatton against Collazo do you?
If he beat Collazo silly, why didnt he stick around and give him the rematch?

BTW I see you are right.

Here is Ricky beating Luis silly with his face.

BTW. I want to see Collazo come and try to get his belt back.
He wont last 12 rounds with Cotto.

The Cotto that fought just then has a chance to defeat every fighter at 147 and 154! haha

That Cotto was baaadd-*ssss, that night.

I think Cotto is the most experienced young fighter in "fighting" right now.
Ehh, maybe one of the most.

But when I say that, I mean he's been in a REAL FIGHT more than any titlist perhaps. I'm talking about a fight were either can win, a real fight, and Cotto took that pressure and won every time. One example was when Richardo Torres for a moment made that fight into "Who knows who's gonna win this now!" match. It is very difficult to be in a circumstance where one microsecond, your almost ready to face the canvas in front of millions... and you can live in those circumstances and fight intelligently in them. And during all this Cotto has his game face, with full compure. Simply one in a million.

The BIG difference is that Tzyu was hit by Hatton and Quintana was hit by Cotto.

All those rabbit punches, low blows and grabing and hitting sure did take a toll on Tzsyu. It was easy to get away with when the ref/uncle/godfather don't stop it.

Cotto's troubles at 140 were due to killing himself making weight, fighting in spurts, and not respecting anyone's power.

Cotto has the defensive skills he just never uses them. VS Abdullaev he did very well on defense

You can do better than that surely. Do you not have a picture of Eamon Magee thumping Hatton to the floor?

    You dissapoint me.

    It was a joke Lyle

Cotto is as good as his last fight and this means he's deserving of such great praise
It's kind of irony that most people thought Collazo was a nobody before Hatton and after Hatton 'lost' suddenly Collazo is a master boxer

So great in fact that his fight on the undercard of Briggs Lyakhovich wasn't deemed worthy to be screened by Showtime :P

Cotto did what Hatton failed to do against better opposition and with style.

Plus Cotto is only 5 ft 7 roughly the same size as Hatton, it was first fight at the weight and he won the title.

Billy Graham, said in defense of Hatton, 'Its unheard of for a fighter to move up a division and fight for and win a world title in their first fight at the new weight. Obviously he had never heard of Hopkins, Jones and overlooked Mayweather.........well now Cotto has joined them.

Cotto earns his spot in the to 10 p4p at the expense of Hatton.

I'd agree Cotto deserves the top 10 p4p position.

Im getting to be a bigger Cotto fan the more I watch him. But I for one am not ready to bestow a top 10 p4p status on him just yet (I would put him at 11 ). I would like to see him with one of the other belt holders at 147 and see how he does. Im expecting great things from him. Thanks to El Gamo I have become a serious fan of his.

How exactly? Cotto shouldnt replace anyone on any pound for pound list. If he is on anyones list now he should have been on it to begin with. He looked good beating Quintana but is beating Quintana worthy of a leap up any list P4P or otherwise? I say no. Cotto proved what he has done so many times. He is too much for any second tier opponant. When he beats Margarito then we can talk P4P.
