McCall may be able to get rid of some of the fringe-contender trash looming around the bottom of the division, but I don't know what else he could possible achieve. The simple truth is Wlad is far far far better than any heavyweight out there right now. A blind man could see that. He just has way too much skill, way too many tools, way too much movement...speed..power. Sure, someone may eventually land a lucky-punch, but that argument can be made for or against any fighter. His last few fights should be proof of this. This guy is the king of the heavy division. The real questions lie in the fate of the other title holders.

I used to be a HUGE Evander fan and as a matter of fact, he was the reason I started watching boxing. His time has past though and he will be doing a huge favor to himself and his fans once he realizes this.

Truth is I would give him a chance against both Briggs and Maskaev...He still hits hard and for all the years of drug abuse is in pretty good shape...Plus he has one of the best chins ever in the business.../..lNot that I would want to see him as champion but IMO it would not be a shocker against either of the guys I mentioned

I met McCall a few times recently. He has put his past behind him and is training harder than ever. Real nice guy with a great sense of humor.

I wish him the best, but at his age with that extra gut, I don't see him getting very far.

Hes an exciting fighter to watch and one of the heaviest hitters in the game.
Why the hell should McCall get a shot at a title? Then he has to fight top 10 and 15 fighters first.

    A CC to you brother...

yes.... landmine950's school of boxing is working for me. Your post deconstructing McCalls oppostition was brilliant. I am learning much from you wise one...

that and allowing me to read the boxing books off of your back has allowed me to multi-task as well. I highly recommend it to all on the forum.
